Look, it’s a win, sure, but it doesn't mean a damn thing to me. You don't see any actual progress here. We just masterfully choke in the most critical games against the exact teams we need to beat to stay at the top. We show up, play like garbage, lose our nerve, and fold. Yeah, yeah, half the roster was out—but let's be real, for the last nine years, or maybe eight and a half if you're counting, we haven't even been able to field a full squad at a single tournament since our last gold. So what? If we're actually competing at this level, gold should be the only thing that matters. Instead, we keep settling for some consolation medal and acting like it's "close enough." That isn't a winning mentality. Seriously, if we're supposed to be happy with that, then why the hell are we even still playing this sport?
