Grab yourself a vise—could be a heavy-duty bench vise, maybe even a horseshoe one if you have it lying around, or just a standard carpenter's vise. Take a pipe coupling (either iron or PVC, whatever works) and saw it right down the middle. That’s going to act as your jig for shaping the PVC or even some ramming tools here.
