I was hoping the folks here following this specific program could clear something up for me... specifically regarding getting those abs to actually show up, I'm wondering what the best nutritional approach is once you've already put in the work to rip through the abdominal area...
Thanks, but now I’m hitting another snag... I’m trying to wipe out my old drivers, but then I see both the AMD Catalyst Manager and Nvidia PhysX sitting there staring back at me... I can't quite wrap my head around which one actually needs to go and which one stays...
Thanks for the help so far, though I’ve been hearing a lot of chatter lately about how you supposedly need to boot into Safe Mode after wiping the drivers just to scrub out some leftover junk... is that actually necessary, or is it just one of those things people say to sound thorough?
Hey there... I was wondering if someone could walk me through the whole process of swapping out my graphics card, step by step... specifically how to properly scrub the old drivers before getting the new ones running. I'm currently running Windows 7, and my current card is a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 with 1GB of DDR5 memory. Thanks a million in advance...
Benjamin King2 said:Just try a different cable on the new card first, because if the HDMI port itself is the issue, you might just end up needing some kind of adapter to get that VGA port on the monitor working...
The monitor has a VGA input, but the graphics card doesn't have one; it's strictly DVI and HDMI...
I’ve already got an HDMI cable sitting here at home and tried running it through my Radeon HD 5670, but I just couldn't get the picture to hit full screen no matter what... I'm planning on picking up a Radeon HD 7770 tomorrow, so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on what I should actually do to fix this...
I've got this Samsung S22A 350H monitor sitting on my desk, and after digging through some old threads online, I'm starting to get worried... people seem to be saying that plugging an HDMI cable from this monitor straight into the GPU is a recipe for disaster because you can't actually pull a full-screen image, so now I'm thinking about switching over to DVI instead
Hey everyone... so I finally picked up this card and I've got this monitor sitting here, and now I'm wondering what the best way to hook these two pieces of hardware together actually is... I've heard some talk about using a DVI to HDMI adapter being a decent enough move, but who knows if that's actually true...
does this one look like a better bet to you...
Look, I’m basically asking you all to point me toward some kind of absolute beast of a graphics card that can actually handle $400...right now I'm stuck with this motherboard , plus I've got this monitor in advance for any help
What’s the consensus on this power supply?
500 W1
Alright, so you guys really think I don't need a 600W unit, but if we're going to go that route, could someone at least point me toward something decent that tops out around $167
...
So, I’m about to pull the trigger on this purchase, but the guy over at the local tech shop was giving me some kind of lecture, saying I’d need at least a 500W unit just to keep things running...
What kind of 600w power supply would you suggest for my setup, I'm running an i3 2120 and an HD 5670
Just head over to your settings and fire up the performance monitor, where you can track everything from your CPU clock speeds and memory usage to your disk activity and network throughput... it'll give you a clear look at your overall performance score right there
So, what was the exact name of that program you were recommending again?
I’m running into a bit of a headache with this software, specifically because I can't seem to get my performance monitor score anywhere near an A or even a B... no matter how much I scrub everything, I just keep getting stuck with a C or a D, and honestly, I'm at a loss for what else I could possibly do to actually see some improvement here...
