Hey everyone,
So, I wrapped up school last year and walked away with my certification as a mechanical computer technician. I’ve been scouring all sorts of job boards and forums lately, but honestly? I can't find anything that actually matches my specific training. It’s kind of frustrating—I ended up branching out to look at other fields just to see what's out there.
I stumbled upon a few listings for call center gigs, and one part really caught my eye:
"IT Proficiency: Advanced computer knowledge required."
And now I'm sitting here wondering... how on earth am I supposed to know what qualifies as "advanced"? I mean, I've been using a PC practically since I was a kid—easily eight years of solid experience—so I know my way around a computer, but this feels vague.
Could someone maybe break this down for me? What are they actually looking for? 🙏 Thanks! 🙏
