Blood stain help! in Miscellaneous ·
Hey everyone. First off, my apologies to the moderators if I’ve posted this in the wrong section, but I couldn't quite find a better subforum for it.

So, here’s the situation. I’ve got a blister on my foot that ended up getting a bit raw, and since it was raining out, my sneaker got soaked... and now we have a problem. They're white Converse, and since I just picked them up about ten days ago, my mom is worried that using some crazy cleaning hack might actually ruin them. Does anyone know the best way to get a stain like that out without damaging the shoe? I really want to avoid any weird yellowing or patchy spots... Thanks in advance! 🙂

Real Madrid is absolutely crushing everything in their path right now, while Atletico is struggling through a rough patch. After losing their last match against Osasuna, Atletico is basically out of the title race. If Real Madrid actually wants to secure the championship, they really need to take down a struggling Atletico today. They’ve already beaten them twice this year back in February with scores of 2-0 and 3-0.

Wait, did I actually read that correctly? 🙂

I almost never comment on anyone else's analysis, but honestly, I think this logic is so flawed it’s practically hilarious 😁. They lose one game to Osasuna and suddenly they're out of the title hunt? They're only 3 points behind Real Madrid, which can be made up in a single weekend 🤣. By that logic, did FC Barcelona also fall out of the title race after they lost to Real Sociedad, considering they're also just 3 points behind Real Madrid, just like Atletico?

And by the way, if you didn't catch those two Copa del Rey matches, let me set the record straight. In the first leg, Real Madrid scored twice mostly due to pure luck—the ball hit a player, changed direction, and completely fooled the keeper, who probably would have saved it easily. In the second leg, Atletico played a backup squad because they'd essentially given up on the cup to focus on the league, whereas Real showed up with their starters. So, that 0-2 result isn't really surprising at all
.
I agree that Real Madrid should win this based on current momentum, but some of this reasoning is just nonsense... There are still 13 games left in the season, so how can the title be considered lost already?

I just stumbled upon some fascinating intel over on another sports board regarding a match scheduled for tomorrow. It’s a matchup in the American second division between the local underdog squad and one of the top-tier teams in the league... the details are pretty wild. Apparently, the home side is facing massive financial turmoil; the players haven't seen a paycheck in months and they're actually refusing to take the field tomorrow. Word is, the home team is going to have to field a lineup of basically kids from the academy. Meanwhile, the visiting side is one of the heavy hitters in the division. One of the posters there was adamant that the visitors should run away with this, especially if the home team is playing a youth squad instead of their actual starters. About half an hour ago, I checked the odds at DraftKings and the visitors were sitting at 2.3. I stepped away to grab a quick shower, and when I checked back, the line had already shifted down to 1.90. Over at the international books, it's already dropped to 1.70, and back home in the States, the betting markets were already being locked up by early afternoon.

So, the visiting side to win: Hapoel Afula vs. Bnei Lod 2 @ 1.90 at DraftKings (0-0)

Here’s what I found in the screenshot... 🤷

Wait, where exactly did you see that in the screenshot? I've been looking through it just now and I can't seem to find it at all... 🤷

Edit: Found it... 🙂

Eric Fox7 said:I have to disagree with you there. Especially since Galatasaray tends to struggle much more when they're playing away from home, and FC Copenhagen is really starting to find their rhythm after such a rough start to the season.
Personally, I'm leaning towards the option where FCF Copenhagen scores a goal

Does anyone know why these kinds of bets aren't showing up on Bet365? Do they only release those markets once the game actually kicks off?

I have my own take on this, and honestly, I think it’s a guaranteed win for the LA Galaxy @1.7. It doesn't matter if they're currently in a bit of a tight spot or if they had that embarrassing showing in Bulgaria, or even if Seattle just scraped a draw against Real Betis...

First off, Seattle won't be able to rely on: Zlomislić, Jugović, Tomečak, Skarabot, or Lesković
.
Secondly, Seattle has actually picked up quite a few players from both the Galaxy and Locomotive this season, which in my book is just more reason to believe the Galaxy will pull it off.

Thirdly, this is MLS, and everyone knows who really runs the show around here. The front office has been funneling talent to Seattle from their two main clubs, so the least they can do to settle the score is hand over those 3 points.

So, I finally gave up on trying to withdraw directly to my card after they hit me with a request for a photo of both sides of the exact same Visa I used to deposit. I tried playing it smart by requesting the payout via Skrill instead, but nope—they’re asking for the exact same thing again. It feels like these guys are dead set on getting a shot of both sides of my credit card... Anyone dealt with this before? Any advice on how to handle this safely? 🤷

Edit: Okay, update: they got back to me. Turns out I can just black out the middle digits and cover the CVC code...

Has anyone here actually successfully withdrawn funds from Bet-at-home using Skrill lately? I just tried to pull my money out, but I keep getting hit with this error message: "Unfortunately, an error occurred during your transaction process. Please try again later or attempt to withdraw using a different method." It’s pretty frustrating because I used Skrill to deposit, everything went through perfectly fine, and now suddenly things are acting up...

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, or am I just going to have to reach out to their support team via email? 🙂

Are you absolutely positive they’re asking for a photo of your card? Because that sounds pretty ridiculous. Maybe they just need a screenshot of your last transaction or something similar, since that’s what Bet365 requested from me once...
Either way, I wouldn't hand that over if I were you. Just withdraw your winnings to Skrill, then move them to your bank or your card, and you'll be golden!!
And yeah, Bet-at-home is definitely one of those subpar international sites—low odds, poor settlement, and a headache when it comes to getting paid...
Check out Marathonbet, Betcity, Bet365, Sbobet, Noridcbet, or Expekt instead. Depending on what you're looking to bet on, you can find everything there!

Yeah, I'm 100% sure about this. I know how to read an email when I get one 😁 They want a photo of my ID and every single card I've used to fund my account so far, front and back, obviously. Honestly, my plan is to just withdraw everything to Skrill and then transfer it from Skrill to my Visa card, and call it a day...

Also, I had some funds come through via Paysafecard, so I used that to deposit into Bet-at-home (I couldn't use it for Bet365 for some reason). I'm well aware they are one of the worst books out there with the lowest odds and terrible settlement processes 🙂

Thanks anyway!

Most international betting sites usually require you to verify your identity by uploading a scan of a government ID that clearly shows your name and photo...
And honestly, what could I even do with that? Who on earth would actually need a scan of someone else's ID, especially someone from around here... 🙂

Man, I already said I didn't mean it like that. I just messed up my wording and totally misspoke... My focus was on the credit card photo, not the ID. Let's just drop the whole ID thing, I really don't care about it right now... 😁

Look, I honestly don't care that they're asking for a photo of my ID... the real issue is that they want a shot of my Visa card showing all those sensitive details too, just to process something like a deposit on Bet-at-home. If I actually send over a picture of my card, someone over there could easily just type my info into their own account or something similar, right?... 🤷

I’ll probably just withdraw to my Skrill account first, then move the funds over to my Chase account. That should be a smooth process if everything goes according to plan, but I’m still curious about that question above regarding credit card chargebacks... It might be a silly thing to ask, or maybe not, who knows. I'm pretty young and haven't dealt with this much, so I'm clearly still learning the ropes... 🤷

jadesailor said:Not much, though they might be able to do something with just a photo of the credit card...🤔

I'm a little lost here. What exactly could they do if they just have a copy of my credit card? They already have all my card details from when I made the deposit, even without a physical copy... Has anyone else actually sent them photos of their ID or credit cards before?

dustypanther6 said:I mean, what could they even do with a copy of my ID? That's such a cliché move...

Actually, I phrased that poorly. That wasn't quite what I meant... 🤔

What I was really trying to ask is whether they’ll still demand verification if I choose to have my winnings sent directly to my bank account. My driver's license actually expired about three or four weeks ago, and I should have a new one in hand by this week or next. I'm just wondering if anyone here has successfully withdrawn via bank transfer recently and if they ran into the same issue with ID requests. I just want to know if I need to wait until my new ID arrives, or if I can go ahead with the bank transfer without it... 🙂

I have a quick question for the veterans here regarding withdrawals from international betting sites. Yesterday, I put in a request to withdraw some funds to my Visa card through Bet-at-home, and sure enough, I woke up this morning to an email asking me to scan or photograph my ID and the actual card I used for my deposits... I’m assuming this is just standard procedure for everyone, but I wanted to check if anyone else has dealt with this before. Is it actually safe to send those documents over? Also, does anyone know if there’s a better way to get paid that avoids this whole verification headache—maybe a direct bank transfer or using Skrill instead?... 🤷

swiftridge40 said:Which betting sites offer a starting online bonus without me having to deposit anything at all? And where can I actually withdraw the cash if I hit just one single winner, without needing to put my own money down first?

I see BetMGM offering $50
William Hill giving $25
DraftKings with $100
Betway showing $200

Hey man, I think you've seriously misunderstood how this works. Basic logic tells you that what you're asking for isn't really possible... 🤣

Where did this one-time passcode come from? When I picked up my card, I actually lost my phone that same day, so I couldn't set up mobile banking. Instead, they gave me one of those little card readers I’ve never even used before. It's sitting back home in Chicago right now, and I won't be able to get to it for at least ten days...

Is there any chance that info is on some of the paperwork they handed me or sent through the mail?

Personally, I always log into my online banking using that little gadget. I just slide my card in, type my PIN, and then it spits out a one-time password that I enter on the website, and that's it. You're logged into your account and you can see absolutely everything...

Now, I'm not entirely sure if the routing number is listed on the bank statement or not. I'd guess it isn't. I just checked mine, and it only shows the account number and the PIN...

Edit: Now I have a question for you 🙂 I was reading some things on this thread about how American banks can sometimes cause issues when you try to deposit winnings from a sportsbook into an account here in the States. Some people say they make trouble, others say they don't, and some say they'll call you to ask where the money came from, blah blah blah. What's the actual truth behind that? Can I just transfer the funds to an international account so nobody asks questions? (It's about $500 total from two different sites)

Edit2: > might have gotten mixed up or misunderstood us, because that one-time passcode you need to access your online banking definitely isn't four digits. At least it hasn't been for me; it's always been 7 or 8 digits every single time...

Gary Carter8 said:Well, I've actually made deposits using my Chase checking account card before, and there is an option to withdraw funds directly to my bank. I might not be able to pull out the full amount that way, but I usually just withdraw small amounts anyway... the thing is, I'm a bit stuck on what exactly to enter for the SWIFT code and the IBAN.

For the SWIFT code, you can find the details right here:

As for your IBAN, just log in to your online banking portal () and you should be able to locate your specific account number there... it's pretty straightforward once you're in.

That’s what I figured, but I thought I’d double-check just to be safe. Thanks, 🙂

Edit: By the way, how long does it usually take for them to actually drop that money into your account? It says my winnings are all accounted for, but the cash hasn't hit my balance yet...

Edit2: It landed after about 40 minutes...

What does the "Money Line" option actually mean when you're betting on hockey, say over at BetMGM? Is it just picking the outright winner, or is there more to it?

I haven't really messed around with international sportsbooks before, so I'm a bit lost, and even Google isn't giving me a straight answer. No laughing if you can help it... 😁

Now, we just wait for that call from the bank to come through sometime tomorrow...

So, I was just wondering about the specifics of what actually happens when you decide to withdraw funds from a site like Bet365 directly into a foreign currency account. I haven't personally gone through the process of withdrawing that way yet, but it looks like it might be my only option moving forward. Does anyone have any insight into how that works? ...

Has anyone here played games similar to "🙄Disco Fever
" over on DraftKings? I'm trying to figure out how the mechanics actually work... Is it just a matter of hitting spin and seeing what happens, or am I supposed to be actively clicking on specific numbers on either side of the screen?
It honestly looks pretty tempting, especially when you see people pulling in anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 on those types of games. It makes me want to give it a shot, but I'm totally lost on the actual gameplay... 😁
