Joshua Morris17 said:If someone deposits into my PayPal instead of me doing it myself, how does withdrawing winnings from the sportsbook actually work later on?

Just deposit using your own PayPal. It works like this:

1. Set up a PayPal account.
Using my example here—if you don't have a debit card, this is the move:
2. Find someone who has extra cash sitting in their PayPal. For instance, let’s say I have $100 in my PayPal account.
3. I give you my bank details, and you transfer, say, $257 or whatever the current rate is for $100.
4. Once that's done, I send that $100 from my PayPal account directly to yours.
5. The money hits your account instantly, and then you can just fund your betting account yourself through your PayPal.

Just watch your back. There are scammers out there. You don't want to send them your cash only for them to ghost you and never send the PayPal funds.
Clear enough now?
That’s how people used to handle it. That was my entire setup when I first started betting online before I had any cards.

thanks for the reply.

Someone already asked this a few posts up.
Every method is simple enough if you actually have the tools. If you've got a Visa, for example, the funds hit your account instantly. Same goes for Skrill. Obviously, using a card isn't "simple" if you don't own one. 🙂Just head to the top of the page, check their available payment methods, and pick whichever one works best for you.

I'm not sure if anyone's touched on this regarding PayPal, specifically for those of you trying to fund your betting accounts. You don't actually need a credit card to get cash into your PayPal. Here's the deal: someone else with a balance can just transfer funds directly to your account. You simply wire them the money via their bank account, and you're set.
I see plenty of you struggling with card issues and getting deposits into PayPal, so this is one way around it. This is exactly how I got started with online betting ages ago. 🙂

So, I reached out to DraftKings about those live streams on their site not working, and here’s the official word if anyone else is wondering why they're broken:

We don't provide ESPN service in regions where we don't hold a license, such as certain parts of Europe or other unlicensed markets.
Because of this, we regret to inform you that live match streaming is unavailable.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

I honestly thought it was just some glitch or a block on my end. Spent way too much time acting like an idiot switching browsers and troubleshooting nothing. Just wanted to save everyone the headache. 🙂

A few times now, they’ve waited until the game was basically over before deciding if they’d actually honor my bet—especially when I went way over their pathetic little limits.

And yeah, let me tell you, they only ever "accept" the higher stakes when I'm clearly about to lose. 🤣

I'm done with them. Won't touch them again. Principle of the thing.

Total crooks.

It’s obvious they treat us like second-class citizens here in the States since they won't even let us access the game streams. 🙂
I highly doubt this doesn't happen in other countries.
I had an account there years ago and thought I'd toss some cash in because the promos looked decent. But now that I see how they operate? Forget it. They can go straight to hell.

How long has it been since you last placed a bet over there? It wouldn't surprise me if we can't access it from the US. I've tried Chrome, Opera, and Firefox, but nothing works.
Is anyone else in the States betting on Unibet? Are those live streams actually working for you?

You need some cash in your account first.

I’ve got funds in there. I’m using Chrome and nothing. Got the latest Adobe Flash and Java installed too. Still nothing.

Can anyone tell me if the live streams are actually working on Unibet? I can't get a single one to load. Is this blocked for us here in the States, or is my browser just acting up?

steelangler12 said:Hey everyone,
looking for some advice on a few things.

Since all winnings are taxed in the US starting next year, an acquaintance told me foreign online sportsbooks aren't part of that system.
I'm wondering how to set up an account—specifically regarding deposits. I've been using a standard checking account so far, but which type of account should I use for withdrawals?
Are there any books with better soccer odds on the draw? I need the ability to bet on 0-24 markets. Also, do they ever block deposits? I usually just put money on a single draw.

Once you open an account at any sportsbook, they explicitly state your deposit and withdrawal options, including exactly which cards they accept. For comparing odds, just hit up Oddsportal to see which book offers the best line for the game you want. As far as I know, all the online books I've used allow bets on the 0-24 market. Deposits can be limited, though—meaning they might cap the maximum amount you can wager on a specific match. It really varies from one book to the next.

Arthur Howard said:Players here in the States can't use Skrill on Unibet anymore. They pulled that payment option a while back.

Just open an account with 888sport. Their odds and selection are basically identical to Unibet, but they actually still support Skrill.

I'm checking out 888sport right now and the layout is almost a carbon copy of Unibet. Different colors and maybe a few tiny tweaks, 🙂
but that's about it. Is it the same owner or what? Everything looks the same. 🙂
I had an old Unibet account so I figured I'd toss some cash in there too, but I don't see Skrill anywhere. I assumed it was banned for Americans since I couldn't find it. 🙂
If I want to play there, I guess it's direct Visa or nothing. No other way.🙂

Does anyone know if you can use PayPal on DraftKings? I don't see PayPal listed under the Deposit options, but then I check the help section and they mention PayPal there.

Can anyone with experience using DraftKings weigh in? I’m looking for some honest feedback. At first glance, their odds look solid and the settlement process seems smooth, so I'm considering opening an account. I already have one over at Bet365 and want to diversify, and this looks like a decent option. I did dig through some older threads, though, and saw some people complaining about them limiting stakes pretty quickly. Does anyone know what kind of numbers we're talking about when they start limiting? Any other red flags I should watch out for?
Thanks.

stormyharbor13 said:I rarely use offshore sportsbooks. I've dabbled on BetMGM once or twice, but honestly, I'm shocked at how weak their odds are. What gives?

My bad, think I'm in the wrong thread.

It depends on which books you're looking at. The gap is most noticeable when domestic books put certain matchups in a parlay boost, but you can't just single those out—you need a five or six-leg slip to qualify. Hard to say if that's actually worth it compared to what we get locally. For the last week, everything I played at the US books, I tried to replicate on offshore sites, and the total payout was basically the same, if not better, abroad. It’s rare to find better odds here, and even then, it's usually just because of some specific parlay promo.
And don't forget, you have to factor in a 5% cut, maybe even 10% lately. 🙂

cosmicranger12 said:Look, just hit up their live chat support.
Just play it cool and ask them—they'll tell you which email address to send your ID photo to. Easy.
Forget all that extra step 1 and step 2. USA stuff.
Just the photo.
Your username.
And that secret number of yours.

That’s it. In a few days, you'll get an email saying you're verified.

Sent from my LG-E400 using Reddit

There's an email listed up there if you want to go that route, and it specifies what kind of documents they accept. Honestly, I have no clue which secret number you're talking about—I totally forgot mine. Can you actually find it somewhere or request a new one? It would be way easier if I could just upload the docs directly, but I only have my state ID.

Can someone walk me through verifying an account on DraftKings? I haven't used them in a while, and after logging back in, I got hit with a notification about verification. Under the Know Your Customer section, there's a step 1 and a step 2. If I'm reading this right, you need a different document for each step. What if I only have one—like my driver's license? Can I just upload a scan of my ID for both step 1 and step 2, or am I totally misinterpreting 🙂
?
Thanks.
