I wouldn't recommend it. We had one at my place. If you're actually training hard—you know, hitting higher intensity—that belt is going to give out fast. So I patched up the belt myself, but then a while later the bearing went bad and everything just started making this horrible noise. I’d suggest looking for something similar with magnetic resistance. It costs more upfront, but it lasts way longer.
As for the actual workout? You're better off buying a treadmill meant for running or just heading outside to run (it's cheaper and better for you).
