HPV and condom effectiveness

I know this post is ancient, but I just stumbled upon it. If you don't mind sharing, could you tell me exactly what your gynecologist advised and what steps you actually took?
I've been testing positive for high-risk HPV on my swabs for four and a half years now. During that stretch, I was diagnosed with CIN I about two years ago, and it’s happening again.
My partner and I use condoms, and we've been together consistently since my initial diagnosis, which was only caught through a swab. I've been trying everything to boost my immunity; for the last year and a half, I've been taking beta-glucan religiously—500mg, three times a day (though I've dropped to twice a day lately because the label suggests that's the minimum for cases like mine). Honestly, I'm at my wit's end. This constant waiting game is draining me, and given how long this has been dragging on, I'm terrified things will take a turn for the worse. I just can't take it anymore. If there's anything else I can do, please let me know.
Your post really put things into perspective for me. The worst part is that doctors can't seem to agree on any of this; everyone seems to have a different theory. One doctor even told me why I'm even bothering with swabs in the first place, claiming that once HPV is detected, it's just there for good.
Thanks in advance.

When I talk about being in a monogamous relationship, what I mean is this: regardless of whether you're strictly monogamous or have a history of cheating, if you consider yourselves faithful, condoms should still be your best friend until your HPV swabs and Pap smears both come back totally clear. You have to keep in mind that a Pap smear can look fine even while an HPV swab shows a positive result—whether it's high-risk or borderline—so you really have to wait for your immune system to clear it out, which is a slow process.
