I guess I’d still prefer to believe in a happy ending😁
even if those two are incredibly twisted and bizarre. I just want them to grow old together, I suppose🙂 I'm a bit of a romantic at heart, what can I say?😁

I agree it would be nice, but I suspect that might actually ruin the whole point of the movie.🤷

Lisa Fowler222 said:I just finished watching it—a friend recommended it to me and I actually really liked it.😁 The cast and the soundtrack were great... and don't even get me started on the French language, it’s beautiful. My only confusion was that ending. Was getting trapped in the construction site just some kind of metaphor or what? Because they show them as old people right after... I tried Googling it but couldn't find a straight answer. Some people think the writer made the ending ambiguous on purpose to let the audience decide, something like that... hmm, what do you guys think?

Well, I guess the ending is left up to your imagination.😁

But... honestly, they really did get buried in the concrete. That part where they're old is probably just a way of showing what would have happened if... well, if they hadn't been so stubborn. It's like a glimpse into a reality where they didn't dig their own graves.😉

Honestly, I thought the movie was incredible—definitely one of my all-time favorites. 😍 I couldn't stop thinking about La Vie en Rose for at least a week straight. 😁
