It’s been a minute since I last checked in here. I see Milo is making some serious gains lately, so I figured it was time to drop a few shots of my own. 😁 Just kidding about Morrill—your physique is top-tier. 😉 Here are some photos of me...

My 8-month road to success!

Here is my latest shot showing the definition. Now, I’m shifting gears into a strict bulking phase. Building real mass isn't an overnight miracle—it takes serious time! 😁

Best protein powders for muscle gain? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
Linda Rogers88 said:What’s the consensus on blending different protein types—like mixing whey with milk proteins—versus sticking to pure whey isolate? Is it actually true that these blends absorb slower, making them less effective for post-workout recovery?

You've been issued a yellow card for using all caps. 😁

Regarding that protein blend question: it’s basic logic. If you mix fast-acting whey with slow-digesting proteins, you're effectively slowing down the entire absorption process. It's like adding heavy traffic to a highway; everything moves slower. If the goal is immediate uptake, a blend just drags out the timeline. 🤷

Take a hard look at the ingredients in Whey versus any standard Mass Gainer... you'll quickly realize you're dead wrong.😉

Jacob Carter6 said:Hi everyone.

I'm planning to take Whey protein mixed with some Glutamine—basically a blended shake—to drink after every workout. My goal is to pack on at least 10 pounds of mass. Since I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to proteins or any kind of supplements, I want to know if there are any "bad" side effects regarding my physique.
I've heard that once you stop taking protein, you "flush out" much of the weight you gained. I realize Whey is just processed dairy, but I’m still asking: is there a chance my body will just deflate if I decide to stop training or quit the supplements one day?

Go back and read a few previous pages. Whey isn't some magic potion that's going to magically grant you 10 pounds of muscle. You get mass through proper nutrition combined with solid training—just like my predecessors already pointed out. Don't pin all your hopes on Whey. Now, Whey mixed with glucose is excellent for post-workout meals because it provides all the essential amino acids found in a standard diet. It replenishes everything the body burns through during a session, and on top of that, it absorbs incredibly fast. Those are the actual benefits of Whey. If you really want to use supplements specifically designed for bulking up, then grab a Mass Gainer... like Weider Mass Gainer 2000, or something similar. 👍

Building a new layer of muscle after every single workout. It’s all great, isn't it? Everything looks absolutely wonderful on paper. But take a second to actually look at the sweeteners they’re packing into these products—we're talking everything from Aspartame and Glutamine to MSG. You don't even need to take my word for it; just do a quick search online or ask any doctor you can find about these compounds. I won't even get started on the colorful cocktail of toxins they've managed to manufacture out of them. So, let's talk about how your brain basically turns to mush after you've been slamming Whey protein for too long. If you’re going to bother with protein supplements, get some pure stuff. Look for zero cholesterol and absolutely no artificial sweeteners or added sugars. The catch? Those high-quality options are usually sold in tiny servings and carry a massive price tag. As for creatine, don't go overboard. If you overdo it, your body stops producing its own natural supply. You'll end up feeling soft and lethargic for the rest of your life, all while wrecking your kidneys and liver. Just take it easy.

Total nonsense. "Everything you need in one place!" What a joke. 😁 So, they’re actually trying to sell us on the idea that Whey is some kind of magic potion that just conjures muscle out of thin air? Please. Give me a break. If people actually believed that, they'd be rushing out to grab ten pounds of it right this second. It's nonsense. 😁 It’s a shame, really. The impact it has on your brain is genuinely unfortunate. 🤣
