The ultimate list of Maria from San Francisco's grandma's cooking:
1. bean and sauerkraut stew
2. homemade gnocchi... the kind that falls apart. I always have traces of about five pieces left on my plate.
3. corn chowder
4. asparagus frittata (anyone can make it, but hers is the gold standard)
5. old bread soaked in egg and sugar
🙂 Grandma's food is always your favorite...
And honestly, even the local diner isn't bad.
