Sometimes it works, and sometimes it just flat-out refuses—no warning, nothing. Why? I’m running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, and honestly, I feel like I’m losing my mind over this code. It’s got admin rights and everything, yet here I am feeling like the idiot because it works one minute and fails the next. Seriously, what the hell is going on?

I'm running Windows 7 32-bit right now and want to move up to the 64-bit version—do I need to wipe the whole drive and start fresh, or can I just run an update?

Can I just jump straight into installing Windows 7 Ultimate without wiping everything? Right now I'm running Windows XP Pro Pack 3—got a ton of games and programs installed that I really don't want to lose 👎
