Chiropractor vs. Bone Setter: Which is better?
in Health ·
What’s everyone’s take on chiropractors? I’ve been dealing with some spinal issues lately, and on the advice of my barber, I decided to visit a specialist. During the session, she performed these intense manual adjustments where I could actually hear things popping—it felt like she was cracking my entire back. 🙂 She promised that after just four more sessions (scheduled once a week), I’d be completely "fixed." Now, her practice seems to have quite the reputation; even when I walked in, the waiting room was packed. My real question is, does this kind of treatment actually work, or is it mostly just a clever way to drain people's bank accounts? After the appointment, she didn't offer any actual guidance, like what movements to avoid or specific lifestyle changes to make. I’m also skeptical about the timeline—how am I supposed to be fully healed after only four weekly sessions? It seems like a pretty thin margin compared to something like standard physical therapy exercises that might take 15–20 minutes a day.
