Weird breath odor when sneezing? in Health ·
Oh, please. If my doctor actually knew what was going on, I wouldn't be sitting here asking questions. Honestly, he should just film the whole thing in his office and upload it to YouTube for everyone to see.🤣

I’m leaning towards it being a sinus issue. I’ve been coughing up this thick, dark mucus pretty regularly—usually once or twice a day, sometimes in the morning and sometimes during the day. It isn't constant like when I have a full-blown throat infection, but it's weird because I don't feel sick or anything.

I don't smoke, and I don't hang out in smoky places either.

If anyone else has dealt with something similar, please let me know what your diagnosis ended up being. That way, I can actually be helpful to my "doctor" when I go in for an appointment—assuming I even bother going.

The main thing bothering me is this unpleasant smell or bad breath. The coughing is secondary, though I do get sore throats quite often, so maybe there's some bacteria just hanging around waiting for a chance to turn into strep.😁

At the end of the day, it'll probably all be connected.

Hey everyone, lately—over the last six months or so—I’ve been dealing with this weird

whenever I sneeze into my hand, the fluid that comes out has this really strange, unpleasant smell. It’s pretty noticeable, and honestly, it’s starting to make me wonder what the hell is going on.

Just to be clear, I don't have bad breath, I don't have any cavities or dental issues, and I brush my teeth several times a day.

By the way, it doesn't happen every single time I sneeze, but it happens enough to be a pattern. It’s almost a rule that if I sneeze in the morning before eating anything, it happens.

Does anyone know if I should be worried about this? What could cause it... maybe something involving my sinuses?😕

Thanks.
