Thomas Price9 said:I was scouring Google looking for how to bet through Asian Connect and stumbled onto this forum. Decided to sign up, so I'm asking you guys for the lowdown. How does the whole process work? Like, registration, making deposits, actually placing bets, pulling money out... basically anything you know that could help me out.

Thanks in advance...

That’s just betting through agents. I haven't personally pulled the trigger on that, but from what I gather, you get a direct contact—an agent—who handles all your action. You send them your cash, they handle the bets, and everything goes through them. There are definitely some extra layers and tricks to it, but that’s the gist of it based on what I've heard.

brightviper173 said:Caesars Sportsbook slapped a limit on me for basically no reason. I spent a few days exclusively playing handball, and they were handing out free handicap boosts on the Women's Champions League. Once I realized I couldn't place any more bets, I reached out to support and got this "lovely" response:

Hello,

Terms and Conditions apply.

General betting rules
5. The bookmaker reserves the right to limit the maximum stake on special events, or to cap or raise a specific client's maximum stake at any time without notice or explanation.

Your limit will remain unchanged.

Caesars Sportsbook capped my account at $25 from the second I signed up, so I haven't even touched them. Honestly, you shouldn't be shocked they flagged you. You were basically exploiting glitches in a niche sport. I don't know what you thought was going to happen here. 🤷

swiftlynx34 said:Hey guys, how does Chase handle foreign currency transfers from offshore sportsbooks?
They just keep rejecting my payouts to New York City, and the only thing they'll let me do is use a foreign currency account.

Am I going to run into trouble if some cash from DraftKings hits my foreign account?

If it's a small amount, you’ll be fine, but they’ve definitely flagged larger sums before.

I tried to make a deposit—something I’ve done a million times without a hitch—but suddenly I'm getting hit with this message saying I have to use a credit card. I usually just pull straight from my checking account. Is there a workaround for this, or am I stuck looking for a different way to fund my account?

They tightened things up to stop people from hijacking accounts. Honestly, don't waste your breath arguing with their support team; it's a dead end. Just open a US dollar checking account and get it verified. That's the easiest way out.

So, if those aren't cutting it, which bookie actually works for you?

Penny is the absolute king. 🤷Can't beat them when you look at the margins, the odds, how fast they pay out—all of it.

The Asian books like 188bet or SBO are decent too. Their lines aren't always great and there isn't much depth to the markets, but hey, at least Bet365 doesn't go after you and limit your accounts the second you start winning.

Lawrence Castillo76 I can't even begin to process what he's saying. It’s like listening to someone try to explain quantum physics using only finger puppets. Total nonsense.
Look, if you want to fix this mess, you gotta get creative. Grab his computer, sign up using a completely different username, then hop back onto your own setup. Reset your router, wipe your cookies, clear your entire browser history—boom, problem solved. It’s basic troubleshooting, really.

What do you think would've happened if I hadn't pulled the trigger on this? Seriously. 🤣 Look, they aren't stupid. If you start cleaning them out on the same sport, they spot the pattern immediately. They see the odds you're hitting, and boom—you're hit with a limit. It's that simple.

Lawrence Castillo76 said:And another thing—I’m seeing a ton of people complaining that Marathon hits you with limits way too fast if you aren't constantly cashing out. You hit a wall after you've wagered $5,000, then they tighten the screws again at $10,000. Honestly? That’s still better than dealing with those loudmouthed, flashy corporate giants like Bet365 or Bwin. Those guys blow millions on Super Bowl ads just to act like total jerks the second you actually win a hundred bucks. It's pathetic.

I’ve never had a single issue with Bet365, and honestly, I’ve run a few different accounts with them over the years. They usually stay active for a good year and a half or two, which is pretty decent considering I don't waste my time betting on the massive, mainstream sports everyone else obsesses over. Marathon is fine if you're just playing around with pocket change, but if you're a serious player looking to move real volume? Forget about it. They just aren't built for that. Unless, of course, you’re out there grinding the niche markets like LP, FIFA, the NHL, MLB, or the NBA.

Marathon is absolute garbage. Take their money and run, because you’ll hit a limit within a week. I personally burned through three different accounts there, and my second and third ones lasted barely nine days before they shut me down.

They claim payouts to your account take maybe 3-5 business days. Well, I'm sitting here on day 10 (requested my cash back on April 27th) and I still haven't seen a dime. I sent them an email on Monday asking what the hell was going on and when I'd see my money, and they just give me some canned response saying it’s processed and takes 3-5 business days. So I sent another one, basically telling them, "Look, I read your rules, I know how long you say it takes, but it's been 10 days and I'm still broke."

And then yesterday, I went ahead and requested another payout too...

Look, withdrawals to a bank account always drag on longer. It's usually not even about the sportsbook; it's about the banks using your money for their own nonsense while it's in transit. If you use PayPal, you'll get it in like 30-60 mins. 🤷

redjackal said:Look, I opened mine ages ago too, but now they're refusing to let me switch it up. They actually claim in their rules that you can't change anything once that first transaction hits. Honestly? Absolute garbage rule...

Actually, Skrill does let you swap currencies or set up a new account. Just shoot them an email, give them the rundown on why you need the change, and if they're feeling generous, they'll send over the instructions.

just a quick one:
Is it actually legal to bet on offshore sites? Like, can you pull money from an American bank account for it?

Nope, not legal.

rapidhound19 said:Bwin’s been nothing but headaches lately... I was stuck waiting on a payout through PayPal from January 26th all the way until February 20th, and for what? A tiny amount of cash.

I personally never had an issue with Bwin, but lately they’ve totally tanked and dropped down to the level of those basic UK bookies. I opened maybe five or six accounts there, but the limits have basically been stuck at $50-$100 for pretty much everything except FIFA matches and the top five leagues.

neonjackal2 said:They throw out Bet365 deposit bonuses for us too. I’ve snagged them a few times myself. You gotta wait for them to hit your inbox, though—it's not like the other sites where you just get them instantly. A couple of times a year, they'll drop an email with those offers.

vegy probably got that email.

As for the bonus, honestly, I can't say for sure. But, you can check your account anytime to see exactly how much you're cleared to withdraw. (In that scenario above, I think you might be able to pull out that $70—just a hunch, don't quote me on it)

You're probably thinking of those $15 to $25 bonuses? Those aren't even tied to deposits 🤷

Raymond Morgan15 said:Look, I’m stuck in a bit of a mess and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I signed up for BetMGM, and yeah, I know they’ve been having some issues lately, but honestly, I kind of tripped myself up here. After messing up my password a few times, they locked my account tight. Now I’m totally stuck—no email address to reach out to, just this one form to fill out. I did what they asked, sent the info, but absolute radio silence. They claim their support runs 24/7, but clearly, that’s a joke. To make matters worse, I tried being smart and opening a new profile so I could just deposit cash and play, but they flagged and blocked that one instantly without even telling me why. What am I supposed to do? Who do I even complain to? Help me out here.

Thanks

Just sit tight and wait. BetMGM isn't exactly known for having lightning-fast customer service.

James Taylor3 said:Look, I just quadrupled my starting stake betting on NBA players over at DraftKings. They didn't even blink...

James Taylor3 said:Nah, strictly singles.

I threw a tiny little cent bet on some random underdog and missed by a hair.

I don't know what kind of bankroll you're running, but they won't lock you out for two or three months. It’s the guys playing niche stuff—players who barely touch a soccer ball and mostly do whatever else—that get flagged. Those types aren't wanted, so they get limited more often. Personally, I burned through three different accounts there, and each one lasted shorter than the last. 😉

Unlike local sports bars, online books are way quicker to pull the plug on you. I’ve seen plenty of cases where people were actually down money at the sportsbook, yet they still got limited anyway.

Lawrence Castillo76 said:Look, DraftKings has the best NBA props out there; they even let you bet on up to 10 different players per game.

Yeah, sure, but try actually cashing out a win on those and they'll slap a limit on your account before you can even blink.

Scott Jackson said:Hey everyone, I’m looking for an online sportsbook where I can actually combine players like you would at a local betting shop. From what I’ve seen, most sites just offer singles or won't let you stack multiple players from the same game... Does anything like that even exist?

I'm talking about online books that don't hit you with those shady, manipulative fees.

Give DraftKings or Bet365 a shot 🤷 but don't go in expecting miracles when it comes to player props combinations.

How long does it take for the cash to hit your betting account from DraftKings, and how long until it actually lands in your bank account?
When you pull funds from DraftKings, are you sending them to a foreign currency account or just a standard USD one? And does the exchange rate eat a chunk out of your profit?

To the sportsbook, it’s instant. To the bank, expect 2-3 business days. I always pull to my foreign currency account—why on earth would I use a USD account when my online banking and PayPal are both set up in Euros?🤷

Are you using DraftKings? How’s the experience been so far?
What currency should I use? Am I going to get hammered on the exchange rates? I can't remember which one is actually the smartest way to fund the account.

Look, of course I use DraftKings. Trying to gamble online without it is basically asking for trouble—you’ll end up right on the radar of the IRS or your bank if you try anything else. I keep my account in Euros; it's way more efficient than messing around with Dollars.

You're betting from within the US 😉 the law is pretty vague right now, but honestly, that works in our favor. If they pass something strict like what they have in Italy, France, or Turkey, we're going to be in a world of hurt ☕

Brandon Chavez9 said:Anyone here actually used William Hill before?

I’ve already mentioned this, but US-based sportsbooks aren't exactly thrilled when someone from certain parts of the world tries to sign up. Basically, regardless of how you play—whether you're winning or losing—you're going to hit a betting limit pretty fast.

jadedrifter2 said:I've been lurking in this thread for a while and wanted to deposit some cash. Most of you suggested PayPal or Moneybookers—but wait! I thought Moneybookers was free, until I went to sign up and saw they charge half a Euro per transaction (?!). I want to hear from people who already have a Moneybookers account; tell me what the actual cost is (or maybe I'm just reading this wrong).

Are there any other free payment options besides PayPal and Moneybookers? All I care about is avoiding credit card fees.

Moneybookers hits you with a 0.50 Euro fee per transaction. It makes total sense, though—they aren't a charity and need to keep the lights on. Plus, there are plenty of perks (mostly legal ones, I think 😁) that make that 0.50 Euro feel like pocket change.
