Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting?

Well, back about nine months ago, this was actually big news. They were looking to slap new taxes on profits at our local sportsbooks ASAP—and while they were at it, they wanted to ban using any foreign online betting sites starting January 1st, 2015.
The new taxes on our domestic books definitely went through (about seven months ago, if I recall correctly), but as for that ban on international sites... I’m not really sure if that’s still on the table. From what I can gather, they seem to have scrubbed that specific clause from the gaming laws since I can't find it anymore—so, does anyone here happen to know the deal with that? 🙂
