Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting?

I’m pretty new to the world of online sports betting. Looking through some of these threads, I’m a bit confused—why does everyone seem to be using PayPal or Venmo? When I tried using Venmo to move funds back to my bank account, they hit me with an 11.2% "Service fee." Honestly, wouldn't it just be easier and more logical to go straight from the bookmaker to a debit card?
