I'm thinking about throwing in a fan speed controller so check out this info on controllers... also, how do I deal with all this cable mess? What should I use to wrap them up so they don't look like a total disaster?

man, you could've just posted fewer pics
nah, i'm just sitting here waiting for a full K to load them all up...
Psychotropic medication discussion thread in Psychology & Therapy ·
Mark Stewart said:Every psychotropic medication comes with its own set of side effects. There seems to be a running theory that the more intense the side effects, the "better" the drug works.
We see this pattern clearly when comparing modern antipsychotics and antidepressants.
First-generation, or typical, antipsychotics were notorious for severe side effects like EPS or tardive dyskinesia. In contrast, atypical antipsychotics—prototyped by Celexa and including newer options like Zyprexa, Risperdal, Seroquel, Geodon, Abilify, and Invega—offer a much milder side effect profile. However, the trade-off is that they are often less potent than the typical ones. This is why clinicians frequently rely on those older, typical drugs during an acute psychotic episode; they suppress symptoms rapidly. Once the crisis passes, the goal is usually to transition to atypicals, which allow for a semblance of normal functioning without unbearable side effects like EPS, even if they lack raw potency. It turns out Risperdal is actually the most potent of the newer generation, though even it can trigger EPS if the dose exceeds 5mg.
The situation with antidepressants follows a similar logic.
My current regimen consists of:
Zyprexa 20mg
Celexa 200mg
Lamictal 200mg
Effexor 150mg
Xanax SR 3x1mg
Prazosin 100mg

Is it Valafax or Velefax?😕

From what I can gather, the strongest dose of Velefax starts at 37mg...

you could probably just scavenge a piece from the back of some old case to get by...

Douglas Cook9 said:Just tell me, did you use some cheap sheet metal from a scrap yard to cover up all those messy sticker spots on the back?

yeah
look, I didn't really care about having a million tiny holes...
but you're gonna end up having to rip the shrouds off your GPU and other parts too
because there's no way everything's gonna line up if you try to keep the back perfectly flat...

Douglas Cook9 said:So how'd you end up setting up the airflow?

He's got that green vent blowing right out the front, and the hard drive is sitting right behind it
and then the back side just gets whatever air comes off the power supply
just a heads up though
the motherboard is mounted at the bottom, not on the side...

dammit, why don't you have that smaller speaker 😕

Douglas Cook9 said:hollowgull5, hey, tell me, is the height also 27cm?

I don't fucking know...
this case is 30x30cm
but the board itself is 27cm high and I think the width is about 24...

🙏 🙏 🙏
just send over the dimensions
and make sure you include the SCSI controller measurements so it doesn't stick out too far...🤣

gentlelynx9 said:It looks solid and works perfectly fine, plus it doesn't take up much room at all...

Well, yeah, that was kind of the whole point here...
but I totally messed up by not going with the actual 10.6x10.6 inch size of the motherboard right from the jump
so I'm gonna redo the whole thing using some thicker plexiglass next time to make it actually look decent...

Alright, here’s my first attempt at some PC Modding

It's still a work in progress, obviously...

Just so you know...
Inside there's an Epox mini ATX board
Got a P550 overclocked to 733
2x256 RAM
A 20GB hard drive
An Nvidia GeForce 440 (pretty sure that's the one)
Two network cards
DVD and floppy drives

The case itself is about 30x30cm...
