Dealing with headwinds while cycling!

Ran into a sudden blast of freezing wind today:
I’m out riding—temperature feels fine at first—cruising at about 25 miles/h (not pushing it too hard, since it's still a brand new bike)—when suddenly this biting, bone-chilling wind hits me out of nowhere. And just my luck, I still had 4.4 miles left on the ride home. My hands went completely numb 😢
