Breathing and Digestion in Health ·
Man, I wish I could say the same for you... 🙂 I even did the whole "knock on wood" thing just to be safe, but my experience is looking a bit different. It’s been the exact same every single day, whether I’ve eaten or not. No changes at all. It’s actually been three months since I’ve done anything active, so yesterday I decided to head out for a fast run just to see what would happen. After a little while, I felt like I could take a full breath, but my entire body was aching. Then, once I calmed down and went for a mile walk? I still couldn't catch my breath properly.

I also noticed another symptom... I'm drinking nothing but water lately, absolutely nothing else. But when I go to the bathroom, my urine is incredibly, intensely yellow. Could that be jaundice? Slow digestion, too... and that's it.

Ugh, tell me about it... now that I'm finally resting, it feels like I'm just swallowing air for no reason... it's awful.
My bloodwork came back normal... and honestly, there hasn't been any change at all. I've been on the Controloc for two weeks now—shouldn't I be feeling some relief by now if there was actually an issue with my stomach lining? Though, I feel like if my lining were the problem, my Stomach would be killing me right now. I'm heading to see a pulmonologist next, and then I have a colonoscopy scheduled... that's the final step. 😢I'm starting to doubt that my intestines are actually the culprit here either.

Melissa James70... I'm still going to push for a pulmonologist and a gastroscopy one more time... basically checking every single box. And if everything turns out to be totally fine? Then I'll definitely take your advice (which I'm incredibly grateful for), because honestly, I just don't see how this could be psychological. I feel really relaxed about everything... 🙂 but the symptoms stay exactly the same, with zero improvement... 🙂 thanks, everyone... I just hope I can finally figure out what's actually going on...

Look, I didn't get hit or anything, and I definitely didn't fall... it was just training sessions and running drills. But anyway, I ended up getting a referral for another gastroscopy. The first time I went, I saw a private specialist, a guy, and now we’ll see how it goes. It’s honestly been awful... it feels like I'm breathing straight into my Stomach, seriously.

I mean, seriously, I'm only 20 years old and my life has been pretty stress-free until now... until this moment. What on earth could possibly be making me this anxious? 🤷
Breathing and Digestion in Health ·
I’m not saying it’s totally impossible... but I just don't see how it would happen. What would even trigger it? Like, what's the actual root cause here...? It's not like it's stopping me from living my life, but I can't really play sports properly, which honestly means a lot to me. When there's pressure on my Stomach (and I mean, pretty intense pressure...), it feels like it hurts. Is it possible that this is all connected to that? And if you know anything else... HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS?!?!!?... I can't stop obsessing over it because, at the end of the day, it's about my health.
thanks 🙏

Thanks for the post... but I wouldn't say I'm just "anxious." It’s more than that. This has been hitting me every single day from the moment I wake up until my head hits the pillow at night. It all started with that one specific day. And honestly? I don't think it's just anxiety when I can't even focus on typing on my MacBook or handling basic tasks like 🤣... No matter what I try, nothing changes. Even when I breathe through my nose, it feels like I can't get enough air. Sometimes, if I actually manage to yawn, I can finally catch a breath. Then, when I'm out for a run, it's like the air just gets knocked right out of me. And here's the thing: I haven't had any psychological triggers—no sudden stress or anything like that. I'm actually a pretty chill guy and don't really have much to worry about 🙂

I actually went to see a pulmonologist, and she suggested there might be a link to my digestion... and honestly, I think she's onto something. Could digestive issues be messing with my breathing? It’s such a nightmare... the weirdest part is that nothing feels sharp or acute. The only discomfort is in my upper abdomen, but only when I press on it...

I mean, I'm pretty sure there's a huge link to digestion here... right? :S
Stress or acid reflux? in Health ·
Ugh, seriously... that is exactly what I’m going through. It’s wild to think someone else is dealing with this exact same thing. Honestly, the feeling like I can't catch my breath is driving me absolutely insane. I had an endoscopy recently and they found high acid levels, but get this—I don't even have heartburn or any actual pain. It's just constant bloating and gas. My doctor tried to tell me it's all just stress, but trust me, IT IS NOT!!!! This has been going on for four months now and nobody has a clue what's actually happening. If you figure anything out, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!! 🙏

feralharbor89...look, if you've got the patience and the energy (I’d really appreciate it), could you walk me through what H. pylori and a hiatal hernia actually feel like? Also, if you wouldn't mind looking back at my initial post to see if my symptoms line up with either one of those... personally, I’m leaning towards a hernia. From what I've heard, isn't that something you pick up from overdoing it at the gym or straining too hard during a workout? I would be so grateful for your insight... 🙏

Oh, this is just great, haha... Everyone’s jumping in with their theories and "causes," yet it feels like nobody—especially the doctors—actually knows what’s going on or what the next step should be. I'm basically just out here playing detective and gathering info. It looks like it might be GERD or a hiatal hernia, which are pretty much linked anyway. Apparently, the go-to fix is ControlAlt... I finally got my hands on some today (yay!), so we'll see how it goes.
Breathing and Digestion in Health ·
Oh, please... I know exactly what I'm feeling, and my symptoms are crystal clear. It's frustrating because they just can't seem to connect the dots...
Breathing and Digestion in Health ·
I mean, I'm just saying... 🙂 honestly, I did a little digging... looks like it might be GERD... because I've been dealing with pretty much the same symptoms...
Breathing and Digestion in Health ·
You haven't really given me any specifics yet 😢. I don't take protein supplements or any kind of performance enhancers... my diet is pretty standard and I'm basically on a regimen right now... so that wouldn't be helping anything. What exactly am I looking at here? What kind of disorder is this? As far as my thyroid goes, I don't feel any pressure in my neck, and my CT scan showed that everything looks perfectly normal 😢
.
And gas isn't even my biggest issue—that comes and goes. My main struggle is actually my breathing, specifically when I try to take a breath in

Okay... has anyone ever actually dealt with something like this? Or maybe you've heard a story about it? I'm just refreshing the page here... still no updates on my end 🙂

Emergency help needed!!! I’m seriously losing my mind here... So, about 3 or 4 months ago, I was training incredibly hard—weightlifting, running... basically pushing myself to exhaustion every single day. Then, one night, I overdid it on the food, ate like a beast, and went to sleep. The next morning? I spent three straight hours stuck on the toilet. I was straining so hard, just trying everything to get things moving, but nothing would come out despite feeling like there was still more waiting. Since that day... it's been a nightmare! Because I play soccer professionally, this is huge—I can't catch my breath. I mean, I *can* breathe, but I can't take a full, deep breath. That’s the best way I can put it. No matter what I eat, I just feel bloated with gas. I constantly feel like I have trapped air in my chest; I never get that satisfying sensation of a deep inhale, you know? Like when you yawn and your lungs finally fill up? It's constant, whether I've just eaten or I'm starving. My bowel movements are normal enough, but I feel like I'm constantly straining without any real relief. Nothing actually hurts, and I don't have heartburn. Here is what I've done so far: I had a gastroscopy—they said my stomach acid is high, but no H. pylori bacteria. I had an ultrasound—showed a massive amount of gas in my digestive tract. I also had CT scans of my chest and abdomen—basically, everything from my torso to my lungs looks perfect. Glands, kidneys, liver—everything is healthy. But I can't train normally, and I make decent money playing, so finding a solution fast is everything to me... PLEASE HELP ME!!!
