Thanks, man. I'll give that a shot over the weekend and let you know if I run into any snags.🙂
Here’s the deal: I usually just toss my DivX movies and SRT subtitle files onto a USB drive to watch them on my media player. The problem is, once they're playing, the subtitles are a nightmare to read. It feels like I need to edit the file before I even put it on the thumb drive. Does anyone know how or where I can do that, and what kind of software should I be using?
Whenever I download subtitles—usually with white text—they often come with this washed-out, semi-transparent gray background. It’s a nightmare because if the movie scene happens to be bright, the text just disappears into the screen. Does anyone know a good subtitle editor where I can actually change the background color (like setting it to solid black)? I’ve messed around with a few different programs, but I haven't been able to find that specific setting anywhere.🤷
Alright, thanks everyone. I'm going to try out a few of these suggestions and see how things pan out.
I need to wipe my C drive because after reinstalling Windows, I’m stuck with this "win Old" folder that just won't go away. If I go ahead and format the partition, am I going to lose all my Windows drivers too?
Does anyone know how I can get rid of this "Windows Old" folder left over after I reinstalled Windows 7? I messed something up while trying to run a backup, so I had to reinstall everything, but now that folder is just sitting there on my C: drive and won't let me delete it. To make matters worse, every time I boot up my computer, it asks me to choose between two versions of Windows, as if the old one was never even wiped out...
I'm curious about Rufus—what does it actually do, and how do you use it? If anyone here has some hands-on experience with it, I’d love to hear your take.
