Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Thanks a ton—honestly, I felt a little bit silly when I hopped online and saw people were actually classifying penicillin as an antibiotic, so I figured I’d better double-check with you guys just to be safe. Thanks so much!

Ladies, can Nolicin (uroseptik) and Panatus tablets affect the pulse? Specifically, could they impact my heart rate?
Help, ladies.
So, I’ve been taking Belara, and last pack—I actually threw up one of my pills within four hours of taking it, so I had to grab another one immediately. The next morning, I called my doctor over at St. Jude’s and she told me to just keep taking them normally alongside some backup protection. Anyway, I finished the whole pack, but because of that vomiting incident, the last pill ended up being taken on Saturday instead of Sunday like usual. That kicked off my break, and on the fourth day of the break, my period arrived—which lasted until this past Saturday. Now, I'm supposed to start a new pack after a seven-day break, so I went ahead and took the first pill of the new pack today (Sunday). Did I handle that right? And is there any way to get back to my old routine—you know, where I take the first pill on Monday and the last one on Sunday? Thanks so much in advance!
I have a quick question for the group. I went to see Dr. Miller, and he thinks I might have some inflammation, so he prescribed Medazol 400. The plan is for me to take five tablets in one day—and my partner is taking them too. Just a heads-up, I’m currently on birth control. Does Medazol interfere with how well the contraception works? If it does, how long should I ideally wait before starting the course, considering my last time was this past Tuesday? Thanks!

Girls, I need some help here... I usually take my birth control around 9 PM (give or take half an hour). But the other day, I totally blanked on my evening dose—as soon as I realized, I popped it, but that wasn't until about 8:20 the next morning. Since I don't actually take it at 9:00 PM sharp, is there any chance I missed that 12-hour window? Am I still protected? I’ve gone back to my regular schedule, taking it around 9 PM again.

Is there any way to actually deactivate my profile on this site? I’ve been hunting for the setting like an idiot for days now and am coming up totally empty—also, is there any way to scrub my old posts from the board? 🙂🙂
Ladies, I could use some help here if anyone knows the deal. I'm planning on starting protein supplements to help with my workouts—does anyone know if they might mess with how well my pills work?

So, I’m on the pill—currently in my 7-day break. My period didn't even decide to show up until day four, but today is day eight, which means I’m starting a brand new pack tonight. Yesterday was super heavy, but today (which is day four of the bleeding) it's pretty much gone—just some light, brownish discharge now. Is it actually normal for the bleeding to just stop on its own before the next pack starts? Usually, I’m still bleeding through the first two pills of a new cycle. And what's the deal with the protection part? Am I good from day one, or should I be using extra backup methods?
I had "relations" yesterday.

I'm currently on Belara pills—just started my fifth pack. But I’m four days into my break now and still haven't started my period.
I've been super consistent with taking them, too. Aside from those, the only other things I've used are Lactogyn vaginal suppositories and Urosal Lady.
Should I be worried? :/

Raymond Morris2 said:Thanks! I really hope I get the same results—fingers crossed, I guess. I know everyone’s skin reacts differently, obviously, but roughly how many boxes did it take before you saw a total clear-up? I’m getting pretty impatient here, and honestly, given what I’m shelling out for this, I feel like I have every right to be 😉

I don't know... I'm on my 5th or maybe even my 6th box now and I'm still 😉not quite there. But yeah, definitely. Spending that kind of cash $36every single month—it's not exactly pocket change just for one little blister pack.

I tried that Belari stuff and my face is completely clear now. Though, you know how it goes—some random paratrooper always lands right in the middle of everything there... Anyway, does anyone know if Urosal actually works?

Hey everyone, just had a quick question...
So, I finished my first pack of birth control pills yesterday (taking Lyndinet 20), but my period still hasn't shown up—it’s actually been about three weeks now :/ When can I usually expect things to get back to a normal rhythm? Should I see it by the 3rd of next month? I'm really hoping someone here has dealt with this before and might be able to help out. Thanks in advance!

Forget the gynecologist—listen, I was bleeding for 14 days straight back when I was living in Mexico City. I had to take two pills at a time for two days just to get things under control before I could go back to my regular routine. But seriously—do NOT try to play doctor with this stuff on your own...

Does drinking tea with UVIN maybe lower the contraceptive effectiveness of combined pills?
So, I picked up a recipe for Belare this morning. Does anyone actually know anything about them?
