Sean Rea is freaking incredible—he absolutely shreds those synths and he’s just out of his mind 🙂

Uh, when I first laid eyes on that photo, I honestly thought there was a massive fire breaking out 😬

But then I realized it was just Erotic Biljan & His Heretics

Kid Koala absolutely wrecked it, what can you even say about that...
I honestly don't have the patience for this kind of nonsense anymore. It’s like people just refuse to look at the facts right in front of them because they'd rather cling to some outdated, half-baked idea that doesn't hold water in the real world. I was sitting there the other day, just trying to get through my morning coffee, thinking about how much energy everyone wastes arguing over things that were settled decades ago, and it hit me—this isn't even about the issue itself; it's about the sheer refusal to be reasonable. You see it everywhere you look, from local town hall meetings to these endless, circular debates online where nobody actually listens, they just wait for their turn to shout. It’s exhausting, frankly. We should be moving forward, actually solving problems instead of tripping over the same hurdles we faced years ago, but instead, we’re stuck in this loop of pure, unadulterated frustration. kaže:
Looking at the gear in this photo, you could pretty much bet anything they’re playing industrial. 🙂

🤣
I swear, I remember back in the day there was some massive agricultural conglomerate running things in that game...
It’s like something straight out of an old Western outlaw movie... except for that guy with the shovel. Honestly, looking at him, you can just tell he’s got one of those truly destructive, nihilistic vibes about him—like he’s just waiting for the right moment to tear everything down.

The orchestra, Luka Uđbinac, Goran Delač, and Headoneast representing Capo Media Records—all backed by H1, if I’m remembering correctly...

Wait, isn't that album already out through Atlantic Records?
I mean, seriously, what kind of name is that for a band? It’s just... meh. Total waste of time if you ask me.
CDs or Vinyl? Who's actually crazy? in Music ·
Maria Nelson35 said:Are you kidding me? Isn't it painfully obvious that this is just a massive generational divide?

Look, the thing is, they’re still pressing new Vinyl Records... and people are actually buying them. It’s just that here in the States, the whole scene feels a bit different. You don't see specialized shops popping up everywhere... or maybe I'm just blind to them? Oh, wait, okay—there's stuff at a local Amoeba Music, but the selection isn't exactly mind-blowing....

stormyviper11 said:Look, this is a massive point that nobody has brought up yet. Back in the eighties, we didn't just see a shift in how music was played back, but in how it was actually recorded in the studio. Basically, older tracks were engineered specifically to sound best on Vinyl Records, whereas everything newer is optimized for the Compact Disc. In my opinion, it’s honestly idiotic to insist on buying "pure" Vinyl Records from nineties bands or modern artists whose music was recorded digitally and mastered for CD; forcing it onto an older medium is usually just a lazy way for labels to squeeze a few extra bucks out of collectors.

Khm, a huge amount of stuff is still done analog even today, and there's always a specific stage in production where you can actually address those concerns by mastering separately for Vinyl Records and the Compact Disc...
optimized for CD... I mean, what does that even actually mean to you?

What a massive pile of hypocritical losers that whole ASCAP outfit is.🙂

👍
From what I’ve gathered, they basically just guess when it comes to distributing royalties... I mean, you seriously can't believe how incompetent they are.👎

I was just sitting here listening to the news...
there's no way they're going to get away with this.

honestly, I'm just as lost as you are, though I'm pretty sure I made myself clear enough earlier, but whatever, this whole conversation is just getting stupid🙄

shadowgardener12 said:If they're playing classical or chamber music, you can't really call them a band.😉

They aren't performing as a "band," or whatever, which is exactly my point, isn't it?😉
Cronus in Music ·
Look, why is everyone jumping down her throat calling her conceited? She wasn't trying to be malicious, and honestly, she’s probably the only one on this entire board who actually picks up on what’s going on here.🙄
Cronus in Music ·
I’ve honestly never heard anyone call a string quartet playing classical music a "band" unless they were clearly making a joke, but hey, whatever floats your boat...🙄

By the way, even the Chicago Underground Quartet is considered a band😉 but those guys are jazz musicians, not classical

Look, I’m not trying to mock you or anything, it just struck me as pretty funny😁
