So, here is my situation: I am currently running a single 1GB stick of DDR2 RAM. I was considering picking up an additional 2GB DDR2 module to bring the total up to 3GB. Is such a configuration actually viable, or would it be wiser to just scrap the old stuff and buy a matched pair of 2GB sticks? To be perfectly honest, my budget is quite tight at the moment, which is why I was leaning toward the cheaper option.
