Blood clots look just like that, and they can also be small pieces of endometrial tissue shedding during your cycle.
It sounds like you might still be quite young if this is the first time you're experiencing something like this.🙂

To be honest, I've never even heard of this happening, nor have I ever heard anyone else mention anything like it...

I was actually just about to start a thread almost identical to this one....
During my period, I noticed a small piece of tissue pass, though it was slightly smaller than what you described—about the size of a hazelnut... And then, after two days, I started seeing tiny fragments of that same tissue on my tampon 😢
It honestly really frightened me, but since I'm still quite young, I haven't actually made an appointment with my OBGYN yet 👎 🙈
So, if you wouldn't mind sharing what they end up telling you, it would truly mean so much to me...
