I’m not on a permanent contract—it’s an indefinite one—and I don't have a co-signer. However, I do own some land in my name. Could that serve as collateral for a student loan? Also, is there an option to have the full amount paid out in one lump sum immediately, even though it's technically a student loan?
I'm thinking about setting up an account with the American lottery, so I was wondering how their deposit and withdrawal process works? Can you just walk into any local branch to make a payment, and what's the minimum payout amount?
Angela Wright said:Look, most likely you're dealing with some kind of brain swelling that's putting pressure on that side, causing a neurological glitch. That’s usually the culprit, but you have to figure out what caused the swelling in the first place. You need to get a CT scan or an MRI of your brain immediately; that's your best bet! Honestly, the smartest move is to head today to the ER neurology department. Tell them your lip is drooping and you aren't feeling right, and they'll run all the tests right away. Brain swelling can escalate incredibly fast, and things could turn south before you know it if you don't get it under control. Make sure you bring along the records from your doctor. Most places aren't doing routine MRIs today unless it's an emergency, so you might actually be able to get it done right now. Do not put this off!
I see you box. It's entirely possible you took a nasty hit that resulted in a traumatic brain injury.
To be fair, I did take a somewhat hard hit. I was wearing my headgear, but my head was pounding all day long. I popped two Tylenols and went to bed early—boxing was at noon, and I turned in by 8:00 PM, even though I usually stay up until 1:00 or 2:00 AM. That was back on Tuesday.

Go look in the mirror and tell me if the left corner of your mouth looks like it's drooping a bit. Also, try smiling—do both sides move symmetrically, or does the left side seem more slack than the right?
The left side does seem a little looser, specifically at the corner of my lip... It’s actually pretty tough to tell if they're perfectly symmetrical when I smile. What am I looking at here?
I had an appointment with my neurosurgeon today, and when I close my eyes and have her check the sensation on both sides of my face at once, there's a noticeable imbalance. It’s supposed to feel roughly 50:50, but for me, it feels more like 30:70—meaning the left side just feels significantly duller than the right.
She's sent me in for a brain MRI, so I'm curious: what could be causing this? She wasn't willing to speculate or offer any guesses, which I respect, but I'd love to know what the actual possibilities are...
For about a year now, I’ve been dealing with this issue where my left arm starts shaking uncontrollably and loses its strength after I use it too much. It stays like that for a while before finally settling back to normal...
It’s happened a handful of times already, always triggered by physical exertion—like lugging something heavy or, just the other day, during a boxing session...
Basically, I lose all my strength and the hand starts trembling, even though my right arm feels perfectly fine. Now, about 30 hours after the last episode, I’m starting to feel some muscle soreness...
What do you think this could be? A muscle issue? Something with a nerve?
Robert Baker2 said:They offer card payments, obviously... but I’d much rather go through a bank transfer. The site claims that option exists, but I'm noticing a weird inconsistency: when it comes to withdrawals, the US is listed as an option, but for deposits, there's no mention of the US. Instead, it just tells me to select the nearest bank... so I pick Canada, and then it asks for Canadian banking details...
Well, if that's the case, just deposit via the nearest one. When I was using Betway, I used an Austrian account and everything went off without a hitch...
Robert Baker2 said:I'm trying to transfer funds from my bank to BetMGM, but I don't see the US listed as an option.
How am I supposed to get my money in now?
It really depends on what other deposit methods they support. They might accept credit cards or maybe Western Union, though those usually take a cut of your money...

From what I've gathered, it should be around the start of September...
Tyler Ross86 said:I actually spent some time killing time at work today running the numbers on a specific tactic:
Basically, you start with $17 and just keep rolling the entire amount—including profits—on slips with total odds of 1.20. Here is how those figures look in dollars after a certain number of wins:
First slip hit = $20
After 10 consecutive wins, you have = $103
The 15th slip = $257
The 18th slip = $444
The 21st slip = $767
The 25th slip = $1590
The 30th slip = $3956
The 35th slip = $9844
Oof, you missed by one there, man. By the 30th slip, you’d be sitting at $11,869 rather than $11,868. Every single dollar counts, right? Lol... I'm kidding (though it really is 9 instead of 8). It’s a decent enough system if you can somehow manage to hit it 35 times in a row. By the way, it looks like DraftKings is ramping up those manipulative tactics, though I haven't noticed them much over at Betway. I just hope they don't bring that energy to the state lottery when everything moves online...
lol DraftKings is ridiculous. A 6.0 coefficient? They’ve clearly lost their minds... but seriously, does anyone know if their payouts and deposit processes actually work smoothly? It feels like everyone is itching to jump over to the US Lottery's online sportsbook when that launches in September... if anyone happens to have an extra Betway bonus lying around, please let me know 🙂

I did that, only to have them hit me up a few days later saying they needed my driver's license too. Like, seriously? WTF? So, I sent over the license, and now they’re just telling me it’s "under review." It’s been about four or five days since I submitted the license, and I’m still sitting here waiting for my money with zero updates. In total, it’s been about a week since I first requested the withdrawal. Honestly, what are they even doing? Is this actually normal, or am I being played? Does anyone know who I should contact if they try to ghost me? I’m starting to get a little nervous about whether I'll ever see my money.

Don't worry, you'll get your money eventually. By the way, how much are we talking about? Sometimes these places can be a little slow when it comes to processing payouts.
Looking at the comments above, I have to say...
I’ve had my own share of issues where a deposit didn't show up for a week, but once I reached out, they sorted everything out—the staff is actually quite polite...
One time I went to log in only to find my account had been closed. They sent me an email asking for a copy of my ID; I sent it over, and they reopened it without any drama. By the way, if you actually bother to read the terms and conditions, you'll see they reserve the right to freeze anyone's account until they verify their identity...
It seems silly to complain about them not replying to emails immediately. Just be patient and remember that it's the weekend; it can take a few days to get a response, but they always do get back to you. It wouldn't make any sense for them to go out of their way to mess with $100 just to damage the company's reputation...
All things considered, this sportsbook is excellent and the people are professional. The only downside is that payouts take a little longer than I'd like, but honestly, I don't mind waiting...
DraftKings is my top choice, personally...
If I make a deposit via bank transfer, which banks am I able to withdraw my winnings to?
What kind of account do I actually need to open? Is that all there is to it?
Terry Edwards6 said:If you're looking to switch platforms, Moneybookers is probably your best bet since most sites don't tack on extra fees for deposits or withdrawals through them. If you need actual cash in hand, you can withdraw via Venmo or a wire transfer, though wires tend to be a bit more of a headache. Just a heads-up: getting your funds can take about five days, which is a massive downside in my book. Also, keep in mind that if you deposited via Venmo, you have to withdraw that way; if you used Moneybookers, it goes back there. If you used both, you've got a little more flexibility on where the money lands.
I ended up using a standard bank transfer...
I know this question probably pops up here all the time—I tried digging through the search function myself, but no luck...
Could anyone share their experience regarding withdrawals from BetMGM?
The site says I can use Moneybookers, which isn't really my thing, or a Visa card. If I go with Visa, do I need to have used that same card for my initial deposit first? It also lists bank wire transfers...
Regarding those wire transfers, how does that actually work? Which bank are they sending the funds to?
As for my ID, I’ve already gone through the verification process with them once before. There was a minor hiccup with identity confirmation, but I sent everything over and it was all cleared up...
