Question for a cardiologist (Bernadine) in Health ·
Here’s the situation... as someone who isn't a medical professional, I'm trying to pose a question to anyone who can provide some actual, concrete answers: my grandmother deals with high blood pressure and, naturally, takes medication for it... she used to take Bernadine, which worked perfectly fine for her, but then her doctor switched her over to Coruol—which just doesn't sit right with her at all. When she brings it up with her physician, they just tell her that Bernadine is outdated.

The question is: can she just decide on her own to stop taking what she's currently prescribed and go back to Bernadine (since it actually works), or perhaps just try it out for a bit as a test?

If there's anyone here who can give me a straight answer, I’d really appreciate it. Her doctors aren't giving us anything substantial to work with, and as her grandson, I just want to be able to help her out and give her some clarity.
