I’m honestly out of my depth here, which is why I’m reaching out. I only have a basic grasp of how this works, and there isn't anyone in my neck of the woods who knows the ropes. Would anyone be willing to take a listen if I sent over a track? If you have some free time to check it out, I’d really appreciate it. Please.
I don't actually need an acapella track. What I’m looking for is a way to strip the vocals away so I can just work with the instrumental, since I have my own lyrics to use. I’ve tried using the vocal remover tool, but it ends up muffling everything until you can barely hear anything at all. If there are any pros out there who know how to handle this, please let me know.
Could someone please explain how to strip vocals from a track to leave just the instrumental? I have an MP3 file loaded into Adobe Audition, and some people suggested using a vocal cut tool, but once I hit it, everything goes silent—no music and no vocals. Can anyone walk me through the right way to get just the backing track? Or, if someone is experienced with this, feel free to email me and I can send the file over for you to return as an instrumental version. It’s pretty urgent.
