Well, I went to see my primary care physician, and she assured me everything is perfectly fine... plus, my ENT specialist mentioned that unless I'm experiencing specific symptoms, there's really no need to see an internist. I just realized that as long as I actually got the EKG done, then everything is technically in order. So, thanks for the input!

Look, I had an EKG done today... the report says "normal EKG"... but here’s the issue: the nurse tells me everything looks fine, so there's no point in sitting around for three hours waiting for the doctor. I find myself looking at it skeptically, yet I go through the motions anyway. Now my mother is insisting that this piece of paper is worthless without a physician's official sign-off. I had this done specifically for an upcoming surgery—a tonsillectomy—so I need it for the anesthesiologist. Will I be forced to undergo another EKG, or will this suffice? My doctor doesn't start until this afternoon, and frankly, I can't wait around just to ask her because this uncertainty is eating at me.🙂
Does anyone know if I need to schedule an appointment for an EKG over at the Community Health Center, or can I just walk in? And more importantly, will the results be ready on the spot?
Regarding urine samples, I am already aware that the wait isn't exactly brief, but does anyone actually know how long it takes to get the results back?
I download a PowerPoint presentation in .pptx format.
Then I try to change the extension to .ppt—basically just stripping away the 'x'—and it still refuses to open? What am I doing wrong? Help!

Does anyone happen to know what the copay is? I have to get this sorted tomorrow and my supplemental coverage just lapsed...
