That pile of sweets isn't nearly as massive as it feels—unless we're talking about those giant 10-ounce candy bars from Trader Joe's. 😁 You're stressing out over nothing. If glavaš can handle it while he's on his hunger strike, you can manage a little bit here and there. Plus, you'll eventually find better ways to deal with your moods.
Just pick up right where you left off three days ago and leave it at that. 👍

Haha, well, you definitely put me in a better mood 😁 I'm pushing forward, no fear 😉
I had a rough couple of days—yesterday and the night before—just hit by this massive funk and an intense craving for sugar. I had zero motivation for Exercise yesterday. I stuck to a tuna salad and some low-fat cottage cheese, but then I absolutely crushed a mountain of sweets—two ice cream cones, two rum chocolates, and those Quickie cookies. Honestly, I don't know what came over me. Looking through the posts in this weight loss support group, I'm seeing people say this kind of thing actually happens... Today I’m back on track and feeling great. Heading out to get my Exercise in and sticking strictly to the meal plan... If anyone has any advice or can explain why this happens...
Food: B: corn flakes with milk L: squid black risotto, 2 pieces of fish (cod and some bluefish), small side salad D: 5 rows of chocolate, a few Toffifees, and one of those little Rum cake packs. Yeah, I went a bit overboard—studying is absolutely killing me... Might grab some cottage cheese later..
Exercise: Long walk with plenty of steep hiking/climbing
Food: B: corn flakes with milk, 2 hard-boiled eggs L: a pear D: beef soup without noodles, 2 fillets, salad (tomato, lettuce, tomato, greens) S: an apple D: salad (same as above) and 2 chicken thighs later on... half a Kinder egg and an apple
Exercise: Nothing—just a quick walk after lunch.
Today’s been a bit of a drag—feeling like I overate big time + didn't get any Exercise in, just felt totally sluggish all day... hopefully tomorrow's better🙂
Food: turkey steak, salad (cabbage, bell pepper, tomato, greens), an apple, a small tuna salad, low-fat cottage cheese
Exercise: 35 min on the treadmill, 25 min on the bike, stability ball work for glutes, 3 sets of 10 reps for various dumbbell arm exercises, and 2 sets of either 15 or 20 reps for different ab moves
If anyone knows anything about this for the bike, that would be nice 🙂
Hey, don't go closing this thread yet 🙂 I basically envisioned using this space to track my progress—asking questions when I'm stuck, logging what I'm doing... maybe down the line, it could even serve as a guide or some motivation for someone else putting together their own routine
Look, I get it, everyone talks about legs, but I was specifically wondering which leg muscles we're actually hitting
It’s been exactly two weeks since I started my Exercise routine and eating right... I can see huge changes in my midsection, a little bit in my arms, and some more in my legs—though my legs still need a ton of work I'm waiting until the one-month mark to check back in, so I'm not sure if the scale has moved much yet The only thing is, I totally forgot to use the measuring tape, but I'll get on that today and post my measurements later
Food: banana, turkey with rice and steak, some pumpkin seeds, small salad (cabbage, lettuce, tomato, bell pepper) with tuna, about 200g of low-fat cottage cheese
Exercise: 30min stationary bike, 10min treadmill
Oh yeah, I’ve got another question—sorry if I’m being repetitive here—but which muscles are actually getting hit the hardest when you're on a stationary bike? (That's what it's called, right?) .. I just can't wrap my head around it..
@ Steve... what do you mean "out of stock"?! 😲 😂 I can't find any oats around here, but if you're really that desperate to eat them, you could always just courier them over to me. 😉
Alright, fine..
@ silentridge8 ... Yeah, I get where you're coming from, but I don't know enough about this stuff to weigh in—so I'll let you two work it out. I don't really have those issues myself; it's not like I think processed food is inherently bad. 😛
@ Steve.. Oats, right? Can't grab any yet since they aren't available where I am. But yeah, once I'm back in NYC, I'll stock up and have them for breakfast. My family would probably lose their minds, honestly🤣
I do Cindy every other day—look at my previous posts... I run and bike every single day, then one day it's Cindy, and then another day I just wing it myself like today (since doing Cindy every day is just too much)
@ silentridge8.. thanks .. yeah, I stay on top of all that, I just don't know if it's a massive sin if I snack on a bag of pretzels once in a while. Not every day, obviously, but sometimes when the craving hits
Food: A bit of cornflakes with milk—beef soup without noodles, some salad (tomato, lettuce, greens), fish, a little apple compote, 50g of pretzel sticks, a banana, and about 150g of low-fat cottage cheese.
Exercise: 30 min on the treadmill, 25 min on the stationary bike, two sets of various arm exercises (using 1.5kg weights), crunches, and some stability ball work for the glutes and lower back.
Haha, fair question. I don't know—I was just craving something to snack on while I was studying, so I headed to the store. Chips aren't really my thing anyway—too much junk—and I told myself straight up: no cookies, no chocolate. Then I spotted those salty pretzel sticks and just grabbed them. Honestly, how bad can they actually be? 🙂 They're just carbs, right? Since I barely touch them normally, it shouldn't be such a huge sin...
Btw, probably nobody cares lol, but my legs aren't even tingling anymore
I’m not even hungry—honestly, I usually feel fine right up until lunch—and this whole eating schedule and diet setup is working perfectly for me right now. I mean, sure, I could technically squeeze in more food, but is it actually necessary? This feels just right... I don't even know when I’d fit in extra protein, maybe around 7 or 8 PM, but that would just be eating for the sake of eating (though I do have my cottage cheese around 10 PM)
Food: roughly 3 bowls of corn flakes with milk, 2 apples, beef broth (no noodles), a salad with cabbage and cucumbers, one and a half mahi-mahi fillets, a banana, about 150g of low-fat cottage cheese, 2 kiwis
Exercise: Nothing—honestly just felt like I needed a break from exercise today, so I just went for a light walk instead.
