Lyme disease: experiences and advice?

Hey everyone, I was wondering about something—I’ve come down with early-stage Lyme disease, characterized by these red patches on my arms, and while I'm taking Sumamed, my skin is itching like crazy. Does anyone know if there's an actual cream out there that helps soothe the redness and the itch? Also, is there any realistic chance this came from a seven-month-old puppy or maybe a three-month-old kitten rather than a tick?
