northernviper4 said:The D3 classes include the Barbarian, the Crusader (both melee and mid-range), and the Witch Doctor—which feels similar to the Necromancer we played, functioning as both melee and ranged with solid support capabilities. The Monk is a melee specialist and likely the strongest support class in the game. Then there's the Wizard, which offers builds for both melee and ranged combat. Finally, the Demon Hunter is primarily ranged, though there are specific builds where you dive straight into mobs; honestly, you can make just about anything work.
The Necromancer was featured in the expansion—fun to play, certainly, but the class was incredibly unbalanced. You deal massive damage, yet if anyone even brushes against you, you're dead.
I've played through all the classes, though I spent the most time with the Demon Hunter, testing nearly every available build. Some are strictly for farming (like Multishot), while others are geared toward Greater Rifts (like Impale).
As for the maps, they are procedurally generated now. There are five acts in total. Act 5 remains my favorite.
Was the 5. Pony level in D1 or D2?
There is also a Cow level. For both, you need specific items to trigger them, which—of course—you have to craft using various ingredients. ☕
I found the Cow level, but I don't recall any ponies.😬
My brother played D3; I mostly just sat back and watched the animations. 😁
In Diablo 2, the random generation had already started, which actually annoyed me a bit—I preferred clearing static levels.
I think I bypassed that issue by using Teleport. 🙂
Melee fighters are a good addition. The only downside is when you have to square off against bosses. 😬
Those D3 classes sound promising. 👍
