I don't get it. I put the DVD in and restart, but the computer won't boot from the disc first. I checked the BIOS and set the DVD drive as the primary boot device, but it still doesn't work. I tried hitting F8 to manually select the boot order and chose the DVD, but it just loads XP again. I can't even get past step one of those instructions you sent. 😢

So I need to install Win7 on the same C drive where XP is currently sitting. How am I supposed to format C later to get rid of XP?

So, I installed Windows 7 on my D drive. Now I can't delete or format the C drive where XP is sitting. I want to get rid of it entirely. Where did I mess up?

I have a question. How many people actually get accepted into grad school? Is it everyone or how does that process work? I’ve looked at other forums, but that was a long time ago. A lot of people didn't make the cut this year, so I'm a bit worried about how competitive it'll be.
