Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
So, I wanted to pick your brains about something—I got my first period about five years ago, and everything was totally normal for the first couple of years. But then, out of nowhere, it just stopped... like, I'm lucky if I get it twice a year now. I’ve seen my OB-GYN, obviously, and he keeps telling me nothing is wrong—just blames stress or my weight being a bit low. He put me on birth control, and while it works fine when I'm actually taking it, the second I stop, my cycle disappears again. I’ve been on it for two years now and honestly, it feels kind of ridiculous—every single visit, it's just "it's probably stress" followed by a new prescription for more pills. I even went for a thyroid checkup (not full bloodwork, just a physical exam to see if there was any swelling), and everything looked fine there too. I’m seriously at a loss here... am I really supposed to be on hormonal pills for the rest of my life?? Has anyone else dealt with something similar or have some advice? Thanks! 😉
Hey guys, quick question—costumes aren't mandatory, right? Will it be enough if my crew and I just show up decked out in all black with heavy eyeliner? 🙂
