Hello,
I see there are over 300 pages here—honestly, I don't have the energy to comb through all of that right now. My apologies if this question has already been asked before.
So, due to some technical difficulties (my desktop icons are gone, the Start menu isn't appearing, and half the interface seems missing), I would like to perform a system restore to go back a few days. I dealt with a similar issue a few months ago by using a restore point—which worked then—but the problem is that currently, there isn't a single restore point offered to me. What should I do? I really want to avoid a full reinstallation of Windows, but I am at a loss for any other solution. Thank you!

Could it be that your Windows Taskbar is just set to "hidden"?

Yeah... there’s nothing there. So maybe that's the issue. If the Windows Taskbar really is hidden—what should I do? 😁

I have a MASSIVE problem. I am not entirely sure if the issue lies within Windows itself—but when I boot up my laptop and log in, everything is just black. There are no icons on the desktop, and even the Windows Taskbar is completely missing... the only thing that happens is that when I click repeatedly on the small arrow icon, the Sticky Keys prompt pops up, which is how I managed to get onto the internet. As you can clearly see, I am certainly no computer expert... but I really don't want to call a repair shop for this—if it turns out to be a minor glitch, I'd be too embarrassed to admit I couldn't fix it myself. I hope my description makes sense—though I realize it might be a bit vague! If anyone knows how to resolve this, please help! 😢
