I’ve got a really tough question here. I tried figuring this out myself, but I'm hitting a wall.

So, I picked up a Dell OptiPlex SFF (it's been heavily modded, not stock at all). I haven't touched gaming in years, so I wasn't planning on it, but I was playing some multiplayer stuff with a buddy on it recently, and now I'm thinking about doing the same at home. The PC itself can handle the load since it's running an i5, but obviously, the graphics card is total garbage.

Right now, I'm stuck with a Radeon 5570. My power supply says it's only 240W, while this card supposedly needs 400W—honestly, I have no idea how it even works, but it does. That said, if I upgrade, I want something that won't pull massive amounts of power, because I don't want to fry my entire system when things get heavy.🙂

The recommended specs are
VIDEO CARD: Nvidia GTX 660 or Better, ATI 7950 or better

The absolute minimum is
VIDEO CARD: Nvidia GTX 260 or ATI 4850

port
PCIe (v3.0)
1 ea.
2.5" low profile
6.6" length
35W max. power

Is there actually a graphics card out there that fits all these constraints?
Can I actually install extra spelling and grammar languages for Word 2003 later on? Right now, German and Spanish aren't supported... can I just add them in, or am I stuck hunting down a better version of Word?

Joshua Garcia3 said:What do you mean by "stuttering" and "freezing"? Give me an actual example. 🙂

Look, sometimes when I click something, the whole thing just hangs for about 10 seconds before it finally catches up. Or even just a simple click—nothing happens immediately, it's like the system is wading through molasses. It wasn't doing this before. I only installed the graphics drivers, which is all I needed to get it running. Is there something else I'm supposed to install on Windows 7?
But honestly, it was fine a week ago, and I did the exact same thing—just installed the GPU drivers. You got any idea how to speed this thing up? Maybe a setting I can tweak or some software I can run...

Ever since I did a fresh Windows 7 installation on my rig, everything has been stuttering like crazy. It’s driving me nuts. I check Task Manager and the CPU is just sitting there at 10% usage while the RAM is barely even touching its limit—I'm seeing maybe 1.3 to 1.6 GB used out of my 3 GB of DDR2 on a 2.4 Quad processor.
It feels like my system isn't even breaking a sweat or using what I actually paid for. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this so my PC actually pulls its weight?

Thanks a ton... that was exactly what I was looking for... saves me the hassle of burning a DVD since I’ve already got Windows 7 ready to go... but does this whole process work for any kind of data? I’ve got this one specific app—basically a little utility—that runs right at BIOS startup and supposedly wipes an account password. It would be a total lifesaver if you forget a password and don't feel like reinstalling Windows all over again. Let's just skip the Safe Mode talk (I really don't feel like getting into why right now)... can I set this thing up to be bootable just like my Windows 7 drive?

I've got Windows 7 on a DVD and on my hard drive... but every time I pop that disc in, it just hits me with "disk not bootable" right at startup. How do I fix this? How do I get it to actually load? What am I supposed to do here?

So, I’m trying to figure out if I can burn a CD or DVD with Windows 7 on it... specifically one that lets me boot right into a fresh installation before the OS even loads. I need this for when things go south and the computer refuses to boot at all. Do I have to hunt down some special version online, or can I just burn it using Nero like I used to do back in the Windows XP days?

Should I go with the 64-bit OS or skip it? What are the actual pros and cons here... and is all the software you grab online actually optimized for a system like this, or is it even worth worrying about? Thanks in advance!🙂
What even is hematocrit? My lab results show it's up at 46.0, while the normal range is listed as 0.415-0.513. What does this actually mean???... thanks in advance...
