Luckily, you actually know how to spot real drivers.

Rehashing? I’ve been around this forum for years, just like you, racking up thousands of posts... if a couple of my comments bother you this much, then you've got bigger issues than me. 🤷

If you're so obsessed with Alonso and Hamilton that you can't admit certain facts about them, that's on you.

Go ahead and correct me. What's wrong with my take? It's easy to just drop a facepalm emoji, but it takes actual work to follow Formula 1 for decades and recognize real drivers.....

Fernando Alonso is basically Alain Prost #2.
A guy who consistently clocks in 0.6 seconds faster per lap and is a two-time world champion doesn't whine, complain about everything, or act like an egoist. That's exactly what Alonso does.

Comparing him or Lewis Hamilton to Kimi Räikkönen is pointless and mindless. There's no debate here. Even if Alonso had six titles, he’d just claim he couldn't win another one without having the fastest car. He's constantly complaining and playing to the crowd at places like Lotus... acting like, "get out of my way, the king is coming." Right after his first win in Australia, he claimed he'd be bigger than Michael Schumacher. What an idiot.

Lewis Hamilton is very much the same. The kid is used to having the best car and expects everyone to bow down to him (which includes getting support from the FIA).
If all drivers had to pull off a single season in identical cars, we'd see where Alonso and Hamilton really stand. Both would fall apart and you wouldn't know who they'd blame next.

It's interesting how McLaren offered Jenson Button money in his contract but didn't offer any to Kimi Räikkönen. It's like they knew Ferrari would have to pay Kimi, and since he doesn't care about the cash, they didn't bother with his new deal. I'd bet there was some whining involved from Hamilton, his dad, Nicole, and so on... because imagine how that would look if the Iceman just brushed them off?

I think you’re being too hard on Lewis Hamilton. Fine, if you don't like him, that's your take, but it isn't objective. Respect.👍 Just tell me where Felipe Massa is actually better season after season? Sure, the kid works hard and essentially drives better than his disinterested teammate, but saying he's better in every single way is a bit of a stretch.🤷

First off, Lewis Hamilton has more luck than anyone else on the planet. Take yesterday, for example: Adrian Sutil spins out and destroys his front wing, while this guy spins a few times and always walks away unscathed. Another thing I've noticed since last year is how easily he can force Timo Glock, Mark Webber, and Jarno Trulli off the track, yet nobody ever touches him during an overtake—it's like they just let him through. Whatever he does in any race, his driving is praised to the heavens, along with everything else about him since he joined Formula 1.
Second, his teammate isn't disinterested this season. He's had chances for great positions in all three races, and he's actually been better than Massa in qualifying so far.

If we actually had neutral commentators and "experts" here in the States... that Hamilton guy gets way too much preferential treatment from our broadcasters... I still remember that whole "card shuffling" incident...
