Peeling skin on my feet? in Health ·
Ryan Davis2 said:But would this cream actually get rid of it for good, or does it only work while you're actively using it? Are you speaking from experience here? 🙂

Truth is, I'm speaking from experience. 🙂

I've played all kinds of sports over the years, and I used to deal with the exact same issues you're having—just without the bruising...

Regardless of what a doctor tells you, my best advice for these summer months is to stick to flip-flops, slides, or whatever open footwear you can find. Just let your feet breathe as much as possible.😉

Ryan Davis2 said:I’ve been dealing with this issue for quite a while now—a few years, actually. It hasn't really bothered me because there's no pain involved. The thing is, every single time I push myself during intense sports, like playing basketball or soccer, I end up getting these blood blisters around my big toe where it hits the ground hardest. Usually, there's just a tiny bit of soreness or stinging the next day. But I've noticed that the skin in that area, specifically around the big toe and the part right in front of it that takes all the pressure, keeps peeling away 🙄. It doesn't hurt at all, but honestly, it's pretty worrying. One thing I forgot to mention, which might be a factor, is that I am diabetic, though I keep my blood sugar levels very well-controlled. 😉

Does anyone have any advice or a potential idea of what this could be before I head to see my doctor in about a month?

In my opinion, you should definitely see a doctor. For the peeling skin on your feet, you might want to ask the pharmacist for an antifungal cream like Lotrimin, but regarding those blood blisters, you absolutely need to consult a medical professional first.

Man, this feels like a massive game of telephone. Everyone’s telling him to go see a doctor, but he just keeps playing it off like "it’s fine, it barely hurts." Just go get checked out and put an end to the uncertainty for once in your life. End of story.
