So, you're saying this one actually beats out the 512 MB version? I'd probably just be running things at a max resolution of 1024x768 anyway, so I guess it's a matter of whether that extra headroom is worth the hassle.

I was hanging out at Best Buy a few days back looking to pick up a new GPU. The guy behind the counter pointed me toward this GTS 450 with 512 MB, and from what I've been reading online, people seem pretty stoked about it—apparently, you can pull about 68 fps in Battlefield 3 at 1920 x 1080
While I was digging around, I stumbled upon this other version of the GTS 450 that comes with 2 GB. I spent some time comparing them on a few tech sites, but honestly, their benchmarks look identical
So now I'm stuck wondering which one is actually the better move for me. If anyone could weigh in and help me make sense of this, I’d really appreciate it

been scrolling through some of the builds you guys posted
and it actually sparked an idea for me to try my hand at building a custom case
quick question though—is it better to go with acrylic or tempered glass?
also, does anyone know where I can pick up those little LCD screens that display temps and system stats, and what kind of damage am I looking at price-wise?
