Best external hard drives to buy right now?
in Computer Peripherals ·
Hey there!
I could use some help picking out an external drive.
My gut says it might be better to just grab a standalone drive and a separate enclosure, but honestly—I don't know enough about the components to play matchmaker with them properly.
Then again, maybe those off-the-shelf external drives aren't actually a bad move?
Open to any and all suggestions...
Here’s what I’m looking for:
- 2.5-inch size
- USB 2.0 (though if USB 3.0 fits the budget, I definitely won't complain)
- 500 GB capacity
- max $233
Thanks in advance!
