A temperature issue??? Don't even think about bumping up the voltage on either the CPU or the RAM...😉 If you're pushing past 3 gigahertz, then maybe...
You should be able to hit 3GHz using stock voltage and that basic box cooler...😉 Set yours to 900MHz—which is the 3.00 option in the BIOS when your Federal Bureau of Investigation is at 300 That’s all there is to it. Let me know if you run into any trouble...👍
We don't need a mod. If they won't fix the banana lag caused by the chat, fine. 😛 Maybe just open a dedicated chat topic...🙂
EDIT: I sent a PM to a mod asking to make the "which laptop should I buy???" thread a sticky, but got nothing back. Meanwhile, Joseph Carter9 sends a PM and suddenly Casey Williams5 gets a sticky. Makes sense, right? 🙂
I’m not a fan of this motherboard upgrade, especially since you went with red for the color scheme... Also, you really need to hide those cables better, though I do dig the internal coloring...
I think I saw a similar setup at my cousin's place—something running at 2.0GHz that couldn't push any higher. Given how the cooling is set up, this actually looks decent enough.
Bryan Sanchez86 said:It depends on the finish you pick. You've got gloss or matte. If you want that shine, go with high-gloss automotive spray paint. It dries fast and is easy to work with. If you're planning on adding neon lighting inside, I'd suggest sticking with a pastel shade.
Yeah, I used some glossy black automotive spray...😍
Pastel... Hmm. Got any examples?😕 I'll post a photo of the case tomorrow.☕
Update: looks like I've decided😁 to paint the whole case. Thinking about doing both the inside and outside, just skipping the front panel....👋 Heading out tonight to grab some grinding attachments for my tool. Going with black for the exterior, though I haven't settled on an interior color yet... Quick question: once the exterior paint dries, do I need to hit it with a clear coat or something to give it a bit of a shine?
