So, I finally pulled the trigger on this one:

Can any actual experts out there weigh in with a critique? On another note: I have a smaller external drive that I’ve mostly used for basic copy-pasting files, but now I’m considering installing the full software suite on it. Is that actually worth the hassle, or am I just inviting unnecessary headaches?

Look, let’s say I’m moving around 50 GB of audio files and I want that process to be over before my coffee even gets cold.
Am I asking for the moon here?

Thanks, Benjamin King2, this one caught my eye: WD My Passport Slim™ 2TB:

Has anyone here actually used these WD My Passport drives? Are they actually fast, or am I just dreaming?

Look, I’m no tech guru, but I’m in desperate need of a 2TB external hard drive—something portable enough to toss in my bag when I'm traveling and whatnot.
Can anyone point me toward some solid options currently available on the US market?

I found this one at Best Buy, but it only comes in 1TB:
However, what I’m actually hunting for is this 2TB version: http://www.saturn.nl/mcs/product/WES...tml?langId=-11
