That scene where he eats the mushroom????
Just the beginning?
Man, the whole movie is a classic.
Jack Black is just naturally ridiculous, so if you were expecting anything more than that... what were you thinking?
It's like how Chris Hall47 says: just use your head and go for it...
On the flip side, I know a few people who actually started listening to Tenacious D because of this flick.

Dude! I've got a butt-print too...

Look, there’s a ton of info out there on this.
One thing is pretty clear: they actually had the script for the movie ready before they even recorded their first album.
Another thing? They spent way too many years filming it—way longer than they really needed to.
But like Ryan Wood6 said, everything is interconnected...
At its core, the movie is just a mix of stand-up sketches, some wild new ideas, and a healthy dose of poking fun at religion and music in general.
Honestly? It’s a total masterpiece.

Man, Dave Grohl playing Satan... absolute legend.

If you haven't seen it yet, just watch the whole movie. That's just the very end. In the song, he's actually describing....
Man, I don't want to spoil it. Just watch the movie...😈 and then this whole part becomes 1000x better once everything clicks together...

it should be hitting video rental stores pretty soon, but until then, we've got the internet.😍

I actually saw it at a rental shop near New York City... so I'm guessing it'll pop up everywhere else too.

As long as they're just messing around, it's fine

everything about May 5th was just a total bed...

To me, they seem pretty likable and their music videos are hilarious, but the albums themselves feel kind of dull.. 🤔

Once you've watched the movie and finally wrap your head around the whole concept (or the latest album), I find myself fidgeting like an idiot while listening to the new record, just because these movie scenes keep flashing through my mind.

"He can make you his sex slave,
you'll gonna' gurgle mayonaise,
unless we bust a massive monster mammut jam...
we've been through so much shit,
deactivated lasers with my dick,
now it's time to roll this fucker down...."

Here you go, have fun with it. There's stuff on YouTube too... just give it a search.

I honestly feel like guys like them deserve their own dedicated thread.
Are you kidding me?...............

😈 😈 I honestly can't remember if I've seen them before, but I'd love to hear what you guys think about this band/project/stand-up act...😈
