2) Nobody is actually claiming that HPV is the sole reason for cervical cancer. The true cause hasn't even been found yet. They just pinned the blame on HPV because they noticed its DNA shows up in the genetic makeup of cervical cancer cells quite often (but not always). About 30 years ago, people were saying the exact same thing about herpes simplex.
Eating right, getting enough sleep, staying active, and keeping stress levels down—that stuff will do way more for you than three shots in the arm. When it comes to any disease, including cancer, prevention and recovery really come down to how your immune system handles things. 🙂
