Could anyone recommend a good GP or a dentist in the Brooklyn or Queens area?
Thanks so much for all the answers.
He’s exactly 50 years old. I suppose all of this is just the result of him not taking very good care of himself over the years.
But... what is your prognosis regarding his future? Is there any chance for actual progress, or do you think I might see him walking and living a normal life again?
My father was hospitalized about a month ago, and now they’re basically discharging him because they aren't sure how to proceed with his care. Doctors, I was wondering if you might have some advice—what should our next steps be? He isn't ready for physical rehab yet, mainly due to an unresolved blood clot in his left atrium.
Diagnosis:
Ischemic stroke in the right MCA region.
Left-sided hemiplegia.
Hypertension.
Hyperlipidemia.
Type 2 Diabetes and Blood Clot
Blood clot in the left ventricle.
Status post myocardial infarction.
Stenosis Aca right 35% and left 20%.
Status post thrombophlebitis of both lower legs, stage II.
Status post cholecystitis.
I think you should probably get an X-ray... just so you can see what's actually going on. If it's a broken finger, there's a chance the bone could heal crookedly, and then you might be stuck with that permanently...
