I’m not looking to go out and pick fights... quite the opposite, actually. I prefer staying calm and keeping my distance from the drama... but things happen everywhere, so it’s probably wise to know how to hold my own somewhere...
Hey Jeffrey Long, why don't you tell us what you're into? What do you actually like?
Just ignore the noise from everyone else...
I wouldn't go for Muay Thai right now. Too much striking, and that's just not my thing... Boxing is alright, I guess... but things like Jiu-Jitsu seem better because they're more about defense... Boxing feels more like learning how to attack rather than actual self-defense... so yeah, maybe Jiu-Jitsu or something like that...
Hey everyone... so I'm 13 and a half, standing at 5'8" and weighing about 140 pounds... wondering which martial art would be the best fit for me. I checked out boxing, but heard it might be a bit too brutal for kids my age, so I started thinking about Jiu Jitsu? Just curious which one is actually the most effective overall... honestly, I'm looking for some striking, maybe something like Muay Thai instead of just boxing. Thanks in advance
Hey guys, what do you think about me signing my kid up for boxing... he’s 13 and really wants to do it... would you recommend boxing or maybe something else? Something specifically for street self-defense...
Hey everyone! Got a few questions... what’s actually the best martial art for self-defense in your opinion? Is there even any point in doing Taekwondo or Karate? Personally, I don't see the logic since they don't seem all that practical... I’d go with Judo instead. Also, what’s the best one for kids?
