We’re feeling completely drained, running on empty, and nursing quite a few injuries. On the flip side, the Norwegians—much like any opponent we face—have just arrived at this EP, and they are firing on all cylinders. It's going to be an uphill battle.
Brian Doyle6 said:I’ll admit I missed the first 15 minutes, but suggesting you could have decided the game in that opening stretch is pure nonsense. Even looking back, you can clearly see the Spanish side maintained much better stamina throughout the match.
I know many of you here act like "experts" at bashing our head coach—which is typical for these amateur sports forums—but this time, he proved his strategy was sound. He secured an incredible +11 advantage against Polk, and even against Spain, we were right in the hunt until the final five minutes, where clearly the opposition had the edge in energy.
The bolded part is an even bigger embarrassment for our players because they were facing: Aguinagalde (33), Garcia (31), Entrerrios (34), Thomas (30), Rivera (30), Morros (31), Guardiola (31), and Canellas (29).
How can a group of veterans and a national team where 90% of the core players are over 30 be in better shape than a squad ten years younger that only played two games all week?
Babic lost the game after shooting 3/20 for the Cement Factory. Actually, he just cruised straight into the semifinals, which means we're stuck with him—along with Chokeic and the rest of this crew that keeps tearing us apart—for another XY years. Regardless, the mission was accomplished.
This is simply impossible to believe. We all know exactly what follows these kinds of crushing defeats: burnout and injuries. There isn't even a hint of taking accountability for one's own actions or acknowledging the caliber of the opponent. Is a 4 out of XY really acceptable, Babic?
Cementara has risen from the dead! It’s like a miracle sent straight from Lourdes. I haven't miscalculated—he conceded 11 goals in a row without a single save, yet he’s still out there guarding the net. That kind of resilience is something you only see here in America.
I’m not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but the US has made it to the European Championship semifinals for the seventh consecutive time (in this incredibly intense handball tournament). It’s truly a massive achievement!

To me, New York is close, 410 miles, Philadelphia 559 miles, and Washington D.C. 622 miles. On the other hand, Chicago is 62 miles, Los Angeles is 336 miles, and Seattle is 360 miles. Why should someone in those northern cities be any more significant or closer to me than those southern ones?
My heart goes out to those living 62 miles near those southern locations, as they felt the brunt of violent neighbors firsthand twenty-five years ago. I was fortunate enough to be far removed from those savage hordes.

Fair enough. By backing those outsiders, you're essentially aligning yourself with their perspective. That kind of validation carries far more weight than any moderator's tolerance ever could!
I’d give this film a 2.5/5, but honestly, Jennifer Lawrence's performance was easily some of the worst acting I've ever witnessed. The sheer amount of poorly executed, forced sobbing and overacting was just way too much to handle. Simply awful.
George Ward7 said:They always possessed such distinct character! As I recall, everyone showed up to that final with absolutely wild hairstyles. One guy had a full buzz cut, another was rocking an Adidas hairstyle, and a third had half his head shaved; only the Jacksonian look remained untouched.
Actually, Stoecklin was the one sporting the Adidas hairstyle.
