Morning vs. evening runs: Which is better? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
James Lewis6 said:What does Nesquik actually have to do with protein intake? Personally, I'd much rather just grab two massive servings of Nutella in the morning🤣 and let's not pretend I'm drinking cocoa solely for the vitamins and minerals.

No, I meant that I drink it as a substitute for coffee; while it's certainly true that there are more vitamins and minerals present in the cocoa than in a cup of coffee,😁 the added sugar means it isn't exactly a health food either.🙄

Regarding the consumption of Nesquik, I find myself wondering if it serves as a suitable choice for a morning beverage. While I am not particularly inclined toward the routine of consuming protein supplements, I have observed that Nesquik contains various vitamins and minerals, which leads me to consider its nutritional value...☕

Do you happen to know where one might acquire this supplement, and whether it would be more effective in capsule form or as a liquid solution?

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for the thoughtful responses and various comments provided thus far. I find myself with one additional inquiry regarding L-carnitine. What would be the ideal dosage, and what is the most effective timing for consumption? Should one take it prior to a meal or following one, and is it better suited for the morning or the evening? Furthermore, could anyone recommend a reliable brand available at a reasonable price here in the States? Thank you.

I would be most interested to hear your perspectives regarding the specific impact cigarettes have on running performance, beyond the obvious fact that they are detrimental to one's health.

It would be most effective to dedicate either sixty minutes in the morning or sixty minutes in the evening to your routine...

If you opt for a morning session, an ideal approach would involve a brisk walk on an empty stomach, perhaps preceded by a cup of plain black coffee without any added sugar or cream.

Could you please clarify the reasoning behind the black coffee; is the intention to enhance physical endurance?🤷

If you take a moment to look through the archives, you will find that running is a subject of constant discussion here...

I am somewhat perplexed as to how one maintains such a physique given your specific height and weight, but I have found that the most effective regimen involves running both in the morning and again in the evening. Much like balancing a nutritional plan, you might attempt a longer aerobic session in the morning, and if that feels too strenuous, simply adopt a more leisurely pace; in the evenings, perhaps a brisk walk would suffice after dinner.

And keep in mind, while my frame isn't massive, I carry about an extra three pounds of body fat😁, thanks for the response

I have recently commenced a daily running routine, consisting of thirty-minute sessions both in the morning and again in the evening. I find myself questioning whether this frequency is optimal, or if it would be more prudent to consolidate my efforts into a single session per day. My primary objective is to address some stubborn abdominal fat; for context, I stand 6'2" and weigh approximately 187 pounds. While I have thoroughly researched nutritional strategies, the physical demand of this current schedule is proving quite taxing, so I am eager to learn the most efficient path toward my goal. Thank you. 🙏
