That’s when this interesting phenomenon happens; once the front tire cuts through that mass of water, depending on how fast you're pedaling, the spray just shoots straight up onto my sneakers.
If I'm cruising slow or taking it easy, it isn't an issue, but anything faster than that and it's a direct hit to my shoes. Maybe if I swap out the tread pattern or the profile of the tire, I can finally solve it.
