Need help with a GPU upgrade? in Hardware ·
I appreciate the input, really. I’ll have to see how things shake out once the Christmas season rolls around and if my bank account can actually stomach picking up a GTX 950.
That said, does it actually make sense to go the used route, or am I just asking for trouble?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been staring at this aging rig of mine—it’s about five years old now, which feels like a lifetime in tech years—and I’ve finally reached the point where an upgrade isn't just a luxury, it's a necessity. Since my interests lean heavily toward gaming, I’m thinking a new GPU should be my first move. Right now, I'm running an Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti, and frankly, it's seen better days. I’m looking for recommendations on what to grab next, ideally something that won't push my power supply past $333, though I'm also wondering if I need to overhaul other components first just to ensure a new card doesn't run into a massive bottleneck.
Thanks!

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i3 - 2100 3.1 GHz dual Core CPU
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti
Motherboard: ASRock P67 Pro3
RAM: 8 GB RAM
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
PSU: Cooler master RS 460 w ATX

Hey everyone,
I’ve been doing some thinking lately about getting back into a regular training routine, and I find myself wondering which Jiu Jitsu academies in the greater metropolitan area are actually worth the time and effort these days.

If anyone could share some insight—whether it's about the coaching styles, the overall atmosphere, or just how the mats feel during a heavy sparring session—I would truly appreciate the guidance. Thanks for the help.🙂

Greetings to everyone,
So, I find myself in the position of searching for a decent establishment for MMA, Muay Thai, or perhaps some Jiu Jitsu here in the heart of the US. If anyone happens to have any solid recommendations or even just a bit of insider intel regarding local gyms, please feel free to share 🙂. It’s one of those things where you really want to find the right atmosphere before committing
.
Thanks in advance 😁.
